Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I've been trying to come up with different "types" of levels. I remember when boss levels had recently been 'discovered', they were the hot thing on the block for a while. I made this topic so anyone can suggest different types of levels in addition to current ones. Anyone is free to take ideas from the list.
___________________________________________
I. Keys and Gates
1. Races (Race through a tunnel of gates to the end key and crown)
2. Stairs (Climb up gate stairs and avoid being dropped)
3. Arena (Try to drop other people from gate platforms using keys while staying in the arena for as long as possible)
___________________________________________
II. User-editor Interaction
1. Bosses (Compete against other players by avoiding being dropped out of the arena by an editor)
2. Escape being trapped (self-explanatory; for lack of better name, perhaps, "avoidance"?)
___________________________________________
III. Static Challenges
1. Minigames (Many different challenges ---)
a. Themed (--- with an overall theme)
b. Box (--- that are in boring old boxes)
2. Scenic Platformers (Similar to themed minigames, but no boxlike structure, adventurous, exploration)
3. Puzzle (Challenges that make you think.)
a. Maze
b. Coin Door Challenges
4. Escape (Escape an area, usually combined with puzzles.)
5. Gravity (Guide yourself with gravity into goals)
___________________________________________
IV. User-user Interaction
1. Humans vs. Zombies (Avoid being touched by zombies)
2. Defense (Defend an objective)
3. Games (pictionary, hangman, etc)
___________________________________________
V. Art & Scenic
1. Sprite Art (Unoriginal sprites, smilies, and the like. no real challenges)
2. Original Art (Map-wide scenes of art, no 'sprite' art)

If I missed any current ones, feel free to post a reply. Remember, suggestions on a new type of level are what I'm looking for!
I've got an idea for a static one- a level maze. I guess they're mingames except you can only go to certain ones after each one and you can only reach that one from certain others. Basically it's a maze, and minigames, and you try to get to the end.
(Also- you forgot dark mazes)

War (Open game where players "bomb" the other team's fortresses and platforms, etc. Although it would be hard to prevent cheating and trolling).
Maze added - thanks.
Mr. Barrel, I'm only including game types that can be made by current blocks.
When Editor vs Editor Art Wars!Make a very cool art as you can.A very hard challenging type.
Art Levels? Most people show off their art skills and sometimes combine them with challenges too.
Art levels... of course.
Editor vs Editor levels, I don't know. Too many trolls to actually accomplish these.
Um, did you see my level maze thing? Sorry if you did...
Your particular maze idea is included under "Maze"
Cool
OK, how about animated levels? Add some sort of category for levels that change as you play.

Delros... why are you double posting? Wait.. (looks at rep) you've been in trouble FIVE times?
Different, looks like he hasn't found the rules yet. DELROS: GO HERE. And read, man, READ!
On-topic: What about our beloved gravity themed levels? (I.e. pinball, new year new concept, skatepark)
Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

Hey, this was made in October. None of these fancy concepts had been developed yet.
Woah, Delros did a massive gravedig and I didn't catch it. :/

I more like the BEE's level than that.
Under 'Puzzle' you could add coindoor challenges.
I have made a map called Pictionary. Its just like regular Pictionary except the code is distributed by Kongregate's PM system. It was very popluar but I ony run it when I'm not working on levels.
Cool :O
