I like BC, I don't want Beta. But I would like Beta back getting updates a week earlier like before because that's what we paid for.

BC just becomes Pro Beta.

@Squad: Well that's a thread about guys who want beta, and just saying you don't want beta doesn't helps (even if this point of opinion isn't asked here). give a reason. Just saying you don't want something doesn't helps.

And you know - look @ other games, most of them haven't that high prices for no support. and a buggy game etc.
If the price would be 10-30% of the current - it would be COULD be fair.
The game isn't that much money worth though.

I'm a builder member. Fortunaly, I bought the beta version at the good moment... I think that bring beta back is a good idea, because some peoples ask for it in their world because they cannot buy B.C., and cannot have Beta (except by buying B.C.). When I see'em, I really sad for them, because here's some thing they would never know... So, I'm for bring beta back!!!!
P.S.: How too know if beta is gone: Go in your beta world, then, build some mini, put a good name, and you'll see Nobody in your world, even if you still 12 hours in... The reason: since there's not beta, people can't enter. Only veterans with beta, who are gone...

Ha, guys. If i ever come back to everybodyedits, ill make a bot assisted world / a new gamemode in my beta world.

THE MAIN REASON TO BRING BETA BACK:

There's a lot of new updates, if Mr.Shoe had put the updates for the beta test, he might find that it's a bad idea to put it in the game and just ignore that idea, that's what beta testers are for
He just ignored the beta test for the BC and look now, a lot of people doesn't like BC.
He just ignored the beta test for the signs and look now, would be a better idea to put the signs in the shop for chat members

beta test IS necessary, so bring back beta.

After looking at previous posts, I see there are a half and half of people wanting Beta back. I for one, want the Beta back, not just because of the exclusive smiley's and Beta worlds,(Since i have Beta) but since you could keep it forever. Who really wants to buy BC when you would lose it later on? I know it's cool having all the blocks and decorations that you don't have, (Including signs, ect) but this isn't Club Penguin here. This is a EE Community, it has to stay unique, I've seen many games like this before, making people pay for something cool, then it goes away. Beta is a full time offer, so we should just get Beta back.

Very good point there. All these updates people complained about have come after beta was discontinued.

I do not support bringing back beta. It was great while it lasted, but it was just that: Beta. People pay a little bit of money to be able to test out experimental features before they are released to the public player-base. The game is out of beta at this point, and things run smoothly enough without beta players to make them unnecessary. Builders Club is not a replacement for beta, it's a way for developers to make money.

I don't remember saying that, nor did I ever see anyone posting that on this topic. Also, why do you think people are embracing beta more than BC? See OP for my view. Additionally, you are proving most peoples' points when you say @Bold. They aren't buying BC (or a bigger majority) as much as beta. Beta is also a way for the developers to make money, even though it is not as obvious. And, there are features that would make want beta more (IMHO), as well as make them stand out in a crowd (of smilies). People are more likely to judge other players by their smileys than whether or not they have Builder's Club.

Why (is there) BC and not beta? BC has a time limit. A very convincing way to stay loyal to EE if you have payed for it (And the time is running out). They have discontinued beta so that players will buy the time limited upgrade.

Basically, the reasons you want it back are the same reasons they stopped it.
