Non-Shop Smiley Guide

Hi Everybody!

Someone wanted a simple guide on how to earn any smileys that cannot be bought, so I thought I'd provide a quick list.

Magic Smileys

These can be earned by picking up Magic Gold Coins, which may randomly trigger when picking up Gold Coins. They are unlocked in order:

• Wizard

• Fire Wizard

• Witch

• Dark Wizard

• Light Wizard

Campaign Smileys

All of these can be earned through playing Campaigns:

• Thor - Journey Tier 5 - Easy

• Purple Ghost - Video Game 1 Tier 3 - Easy-Medium - Used to be a Magic Smiley.

• Squirrel - Animal Antics Tier 4 - Easy-Medium

• Red Ninja - Colorful Tier 3 - Medium-Hard - Used to be earned by collecting a Magic Red Key.

• Golem - Elemental: Earth Tier 5 - Medium-Hard

• Raindrop - Elemental: Water Tier 5 - Medium-Hard

• Seagull - Elemental: Air Tier 5 - Hard

• Fire Demon - Elemental: Fire Tier 5 - Hard

• Devil Skull - Perpetual Frustration Tier 6 - Insane

• Red Dragon - Trial & Terror Tier 6 - Insane

From Seasonal Campaigns:

• Raindrop - Spring Tier 4 - Basic-Easy

• Seagull - Summer Tier 5 - Medium

• Eyeball - Halloween 2 Tier 4 - Medium-Hard

• Scrooge - Christmas Tier 4 - Easy

• Grinch - Christmas Tier 5 - Medium

• Penguin - Wintery Wonders Tier 2 - Medium

• Frozen - Wintery Wonders Tier 5 - Medium-Hard

Scavenger Hunts

These are all smileys you have to do a series of events to unlock:

• Frost Dragon - Official Starting Point - /checktrail - Step-by-Step Guide

• Golden Dragon - Official Starting Point - /checkgtrail - Step-by-Step Guide

• Black Dragon - Step-by-Step Guide

Bats Evolve Into Black Dragons!

• Silver Dragon - /checkstrail - Step-by-Step Guide

▼Official Clue

Official Starting Point

• Robot MK II - Step-by-Step Guide

▼Official Clue

▼Clue Explanation

These are the flags of Canada (CA), Liechtenstein (LI), Palestine (PS), & Spain (ES), spelling out "Calipses". The Robot Mk II can therefore be unlocked in the level "Meltdown At Calipses".

Smiley Triggers

These are all the ones that you can trigger in-game, but cannot own:

• - Triggered by passing through the Diamond Block

• - Triggered by passing through the Cake Block

• - Triggered by passing through the Hologram Block

• - Triggered by passing through the Zombie Effect

Miscellaneous Smileys

All the rest!

• Platinum Spender - Available if you sign up for Platinum Tier Patreon or above. It's the game's only animated smiley.

• Fanboy - Currently available if you purchase official Everybody Edits merchandise - Forum Link - Previously earned by sending postcards or fan art to Chris Benjaminsen in 2011-12.

• Fanboy II - Currently available if you purchase official Everybody Edits merchandise - Forum Link - Previously earned by sending fan art to EE Staff in 2013, and by sending fan art to Nou in 2016.

▼Impossible Smileys

These are the smileys that can no longer be obtained in any fashion:

• Superman - Staff Only

• Postman - Available for signing up to the EE Newsletter from 2011-2019 (Planning to add it to the shop soon)

• Bunny - Easter Contest 2011 Top 10

• Bird - Easter Contest 2011 Top 5

• Pumpkin - Halloween Contest 2011 Top 9

• Lit Pumpkin - Halloween Contest 2011 Top 6

• Artist - Loadscreen Contest 2015 Top 9 & Design Contest 2017 Top 9

• Designer - Design Contest 2017 Top 5
