Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yeah all the roles are court themed, lets see how it goes.
The basic rules are the same as usual, basically try to post relatively often (although given COVID-19 I'm expecting excuses like "I was at school" to be less believable), and don't be a ****.
There's a few important rule changes though:
1. This game will end at the end of Day 5. No exceptions, no matter who, if anyone, has won.
2. Almost everyone can use the "!vote X" command, but only votes from the Jury will actually count.
3. The final vote count will not be revealed, only the result.
4. If the Jury votes result in a tie, there will be an extra 24 hours given for people to only vote for the players that are tied. If it results in a tie again, there will be no lynch.
5. The "Judge" role has the power to cancel a lynch, so there may be a delay between when the votes close to when the results are revealed.

do i get this right the non jury votes are included in fake votecounts but at the end of the day theyre just ignored
i like the originality of the setup but some roles/mechanics can be abused in town's favour
are blue guys supposed to be neutrals or town aligned??
here's how we can try solving the game with prosecutor's help:
if the prosecutor has a list of mafia from the get go he could just claim and have himself lynched to prove it or have the town trust him and lynch one of the players on his list (the latter is a better case scenario)
if prosecutor is lynched, technically there is a successful lynch that isnt mafia, which turns him into a jester, does that mean he wins lol
if town trusts him and lynches one of the players on his list then i think further course of action is obvious, we lynch players from his list until we win or until one of them actually doesnt flip mafia and we realize the prosecutor is fake
this would work best if prosecutor is town aligned and can win with town's victory, which i think is not the case sadly
here's how we can use the jury mechanic to figure out who's a jury and who's mafia/PR
cast no more than 3 votes on a single person, build up multiple wagons consisting of 2-3 votes, the outcome of the lynch will indicate which wagon(s) had more juries
this would work best if blue guys aren't town aligned thus town doesn't lose much by revealing them (to mafia)

honestly is there any way for mafia to save themselves if a prosecutor claims
all they can do is make one of their members counter fake claim and convince town to lynch prosecutor instead and that will only delay the inevitable by 1 day
@onjit are there any limitations to attorney picking their target? or are they able to choose any player with votes (excluding themselves) whenever during any day
what happens to the attorney if they dont pick a client until the end of the game and survive?

just realized prosecutor cant vote lol
does that mean his "!vote adsadadwd"s arent even included in the posted vote count?
bruh if thats how it works then its even easier for prosecutor to prove themselves
i like andy's idea
i say we do that plus make wagons of no more than 3 votes
this way we can also get some info on who's jury and who isnt, judging by the lynch outcome
here's a random paranoid thought: there's a hidden part to the prosecutor's rolecard that isnt posted in the OP and nerfs him somehow because this seems too easy

More paranoid thoughts:
Maybe the hidden Prosecutor mechanic is that if they vote themselves they die? Which puts them before undesirable choice of surrendering their own goal to gift the town an easy win

How does that confirm who the prosecutor is? Are we assuming onjit is going to release the vote counts?
It makes no sense to explicitly say that Prosecutor can't vote if Onjit isn't going to post vote counts
The votes of other non-jury roles don't count either so what would be the difference and reason to mention it only in Prosecutor's rolecard?

Are they not allowed to cast a vote at all, or is their vote just not counted?
That's the part we don't know
I've speculated in my earlier posts that there could be a hidden part in Prosecutor's rolecard
seems like they're not allowed to cast a vote at all, see below where I linked Onjit's post
If the prosecutor pretends to cast a vote anyway, and Onjit doesn't give us a vote count, then how does this prove anything?
Again, if Onjit doesn't give us vote counts and Prosecutor is allowed to make fake votes, then how is he any different form other non-jury roles? Why include "You may not vote during the day phase" in this specific rolecard only?
Are lynches done on majority or plurality?
plurality i think and you cant end the day early by voting
literally read page 1
btw i completely missed this post yikes: https://forums.everybodyedits.com/viewt … 35#p777135
i guess if prosecutor casts a vote they just oof themselves
Why are y'all voting for allen if you think he's the prosecutor? He's beneficial to the town, and y'all are trying to kill him. Anyone that has cast a vote for him is suspect in my eyes.
its either him or you and we're pressuring everyone to cast a vote to find the prosecutor
also allen has been acting very odd since people started pressuring him so its understandable
im inclined to believe youre the prosec given that abstain move
but what if youre a hitman trying to get prosec out of the game :flush:
Offline
The intent is not to kill the prosecutor... right? Because if that's what we're doing, then y'all are dumb.
bruh
the intent is to find the prosecutor so he tells us whos the mafia
Offline
It was already told here 10000000 times, the Hitmen WONT focus prosecutor AFTER he'd already told who the hitmen are! Stop being a **** idiot!!!!!!
does it say anywhere that prosec can win post mortem

how would both Jawapa *and* Allen know about it tho when nobody else was informed.
I don't think Jawapa ever said he can't claim
He actually said he's not the prosecutor
Onjit posted in the thread however that Prosecutor voting is a ticket to oblivion and Jawapa did say he's going to abstain
