Hi all!

This is the Game Thread for Fake Expert 03 [7 Birds 3 Stones].

Only 1 is the Answer.
There are 4 active Fakers.

Please avoid off-topic and discussion during this phase

Voting Phase:
Everyone votes on the player that you think that doesnt know the answer, based on their clue.
Fakers PM me the answer they think is the right one.
You can discuss during this phase.

I'll consider multiple votings, but the eliminated one will be the first to reach majority (current 6).

imo you should still be able to discuss, as long as you make the clue v obvious in your post

I ask for no discussion during this phase because it messes up finding clues yeah...

but also, not everybody has answered yet, maybe waiting until everyone answers can totally change the discussion target.

also i think how it should work is that all lynches pass if they get majority (no nullifying or whatever) but if the fakers guess correctly then they get to eliminate a player of their choosing

this means that there are still consequences for both teams and the game doesn't go into stalemante if the people giving the clues have zero imagination

decreasing Players amount wont work, as each round the Fakers win, the amount of real clues will decrease.
At some point, it'll be impossible for Fakers to discover the clue, aswell for Players to identify the other real Players...

There are strategies that Players and Fakers can apply to change the game direction, you are just not using it.

At some point, it'll be impossible for Fakers to discover the clue, aswell for Players to identify the other real Players...

There are strategies that Players and Fakers can apply to change the game direction, you are just not using it.

Here's the thing though: under the current rules, if there is even one person that gives a super obvious hint, the whole game is put into stalemate because there will never be a chance for anyone to vote anyone out. Every round's vote will be nullified because thenFakers will always guess correctly

Its not "who" gives the clues, but "when" they are given. Think about this.
The point of this setup is that even if there are suspect Fakers, you'll never know until they get sucessfully lynched.

I'm thinking of instead decreasing the words amount when Faker get it right, they increase instead.
This way the game difficulty increases for both teams, as each round the more generic your clue is, the more fake you'll appear to be.

The rules of the game definitely need adjusting because it's currently impossible to vote people out. No matter how obscure our clues out having 3/4 people guessing the answer is almost always going to result in no lynch.

Yeah, this game its like the third round ever on this forum, its pretty much in beta.
Tons of adjustments are to be done, but when cannot find the perfect balance if we dont test them first.

Im already planning the next thread if nobody wants to host it, so if you guys want to play, im removing the lynch null mechanic, teaming up fakers, adding neutral party and some PRs.

i got an idea for fake expert 4
3 fakers each round teaming up
if a faker get slynched all non fakers get a point
if faker guesses answer faker gets point
then 3 new fakers get choosen

I'm not into points systems tho, they feel so arcaic and unmalleable, they are only useful if you can use them like currency, but thats not applied here.

Also, Peace, you are already hosting a Mafia right now, dont be selfish >:(
