Welcome to Mafia 40 - Russian Roulette

Setup:

- 13 players
- 2 Mafia A
- 2 Mafia B
- 9 Vanilla Townie

Information:

- This mafia is Nightless meaning that there is no night phase, thus no night kill for mafia.
- Each In-game Day will last 72 hours.
- You cannot revoke your vote, once you place it, It is absolute.
- There has to be a lynch everyday, nolynch is not allowed.
- #8A5C5C is my color. Impersonating me will get you modkilled.
- You have to post at least once every 24 hours. Failing to do so twice will get you modkilled.
- In case of a tie, both players will be lynched.
- You are forced to vote if majority has not been reached and day is about to end.
- All forum rules apply.
- Vote in h tags.
- You are expected to put a minimum of effort in your posts. (I'm looking at you Peace)
- I may make mistakes - please point out any mistakes gently. Mistakes will be corrected where possible, but sometimes mistakes are made that cannot be reversed. These will stand as final to be commiserated over after the game.
- If you need to get the mod's attention, either PM me, or bold the text you wish to draw to my attention.
- I reserve the right to alter/remove/add any rules as I see fit. You will, of course, be notified if that happens, however.

I’m gonna participate more in Day 2. A holiday just started for me.

Tbh I’m getting dragged into different directions when reading the posts, don’t really have my own thoughts for now.

I think Task doesn’t care about him being lynched because he thought there’s no way he can be saved? The votecount was literally 1-1-3 until a bunch of votes came out.

Crybaby’s post about him being inactive is a bit weird. Yea I know I’m restating what Norwegianboy said but meh. When Crybaby added something like ‘though it’ll be a mislynch’, I felt weird with it. Why did he need to state that when he could’ve said ‘lynch me if you think it helps’ or something like that?

Mutant and Norboy doesn’t give me scummy vibes.

Processor made 3 posts only but he gives me a townish vibe.

Peace is a little suspicious to me

Again, I said I wasn't saying that Task's random vote was correct. I was simply pointing out to peace that Task did explain his vote.

In that game we know that Norboy is town so he can do whatever he wanted
But this game, we dont know his alignment, it's not the same. It's weird that you just used it to protect Norboy.

And now he said his scum read on ele depends on Task’s flip? And yet again he gave no reason at all.
Why is Processor so keen on lynching TaskManager? He has been against Task on D1 and D2, yet provided no reasons for it. Weird.
Can you at least give explanations for your suspicions please.

I disagree with the double lynching.
You might say that getting rid of two suspicious players in one day is good, but that’s a no for me.

1. If we lynch both Processor and TaskManager today, the result is either satisfying or disappointing. A scenario that both are mafia can happen, as well as 1 town 1 scum or even both town. I don’t think that both Processor are TaskManager are both mafia, so we need to be careful of our decisions. We certainly don’t want the worst scenario to happen. That’s why we should play safe and lynch one of them first, instead of both.

2. Double lynching would waste this day and possibly the next day too. If we lynch both Processor and TaskManager today, then what’s the point of this whole discussion in Day 2? This Processor vs Task thing ultimately ends in both dying after this whole discussion? Not worth it. If we know that both got lynched, then we could’ve used this day to discuss other things. If nothing surprising happened, lynching them separately can let us to have a target for lynching in Day 3, so we don’t have to worry about who to lynch, and while we have our target for Day 3, we can discuss who to lynch on Day 4 too.

3. Lynching either one of Processor or TaskManager can let us to know information about the other person, so we can make a final decision whether to lynch or not based on the lynched person’s alignment. Lynching both of them for me is like wasting a chance to have more information about the other person.

A Task lynch would be hard to do, since all players who still didn’t vote needs to vote on Task in order to get him lynched. But I’m convinced by Proc that he’s most likely town, since he defended himself when Shadow attacked him, this just disproves the statement that Processor is avoiding questions. And Task is also fine with himself lynched, so I’m gonna place my vote on Task.
