Also, if Crybaby is town then that means someone blocked his kill. It could be diff, it could be the mafia, it could be pqwerty. I doubt the mafia would have a second roleblocker and I also think it's unlikely that diff would be able to roleblock people. So that means that it could have been pqwerty. Hence, by lynching pqwerty and finding out whether he can or can't roleblock people, we kinda solve Crybaby's alignment in the process.

We know the least about his role. We can theorise that the hitman works the way I've said it does but we just don't know.

Jawapa is dead. That tells me that at the very least the mafia wants the infection to **** us up. If not me then they should have killed you.

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that Crybaby isn't a vig because there's not really a logical explanation as to why the kill would fail. The only plausible reasons are that either pqwerty can role block or diff is immune.

I think the mafia's roles are as follows:
Kira: Roleblocker
Slabdrill: Godfather
Shadow/Crybaby: Wincon cop

This is a very effective trio of roles for the mafia to have considering how many killing and investigative roles there are as well as the need to identify third parties.

If Slabrill isn't the godfather then we have no idea what roles the mafia have and I feel it's unlikely we'd not see any of their effects at this point of the game.

Semantics is seldom useful when solving people's alignments in mafia. You cannot possibly deduce whether or not the use of 'we' is normal writing style referencing the town as a collective or subconscious association with the mafia as a collective.

I've already investigated Slabdrill and I'm confident that you and pqwerty are the neutral roles so that would be a waste of my investigation. Confirming Shadow as scum would have solved the game and getting a town result makes things more interesting. Both Slabdrill and Shadow can't both be godfathers lol.

Look, peace is obviously the mafia. I was just waiting for Slabdrill to confirm that he was roleblocked but his lack of posting is annoying. The only way peace isn't mafia is if pqwerty has a night kill. So I was going to suggest we lynch pqwerty first just to confirm that.

Slabdrill confirms me as town, Shadow confirms Slabdrill as town, and I confirm both of you as town (you can't both be a godfather). We have the 3 townies right there. peace is the mafia's investigative role.

Shadow don't join the infected. They literally know who you are so you're not gonna survive more than a day. Diff and Zelda are the only players who don't have any chance of winning the game. Though, if I was Zelda, I'd still consider a town victory as a pseudo-victory because that win condition is hella stupid.

Actually, not really. That's the whole point as to why it's taken us this long to catch him. peace becomes obviously mafia due to his inability to scum hunt. But this game hasn't been about scum hunting, it's been entirely mechanical. All he had to do to get by was tell the truth about the mechanics going on. He obviously never lied about being infected and I'm also certain he really is the role he claims he is. He's just mafia instead of town.

You majorly misunderstand how the infection role works.

Diff gets to CHOOSE 1 person who voted for him to infect during the NIGHT. If we lynch him nobody gets infected. He won't be alive to infect anyone. He doesn't suddenly infect the entire wagon when he dies, that'd be a stupid mechanic. You choosing to let diff infect you changes nothing. You were always going to be tommorow's lynch anyway.

I believe Diff is either being sarcastic or is simply lying. It would be completely stupid if his role worked like that. And I'm pretty sure you know that. If you genuinely believed his role worked like that then you'd be trying to convince everyone to vote for him. If we all get infected in the process of lynching him then why don't we lynch him, all get infected, and all win together? We plan to lynch diff on the final day. So even if his role did truly work that way then we'd win anyway just as infected instead of as town.

There is no free win for the infected here. All your identities will be known ready for the mafia to shoot you and the town to lynch you. Zelda siding with the infected would just make the mafia win instead of the town win.

The way everyone (alive) wins is obvious regardless of how diff's role works. We just keep voting up to L-1 over however many days it takes to infect everyone. If diff's role works the way you claim it will only take 2 days and if it works the way I think it does then it will take 3. I have 3 reservations about that though:

1: I'd feel bad stealing the win from the dead town members (especially Norwegianboy).
2: We should probably lynch peace anyway since it's quite likely he'd shoot people.
3: There's a chance that only diff actually wins if everyone gets infected. That's the kind of trap I'd expect Onjit to spring on us.

Town can certainly still win. If Slabdrill wakes up and votes peace we win, it's as simple as that.

But, if the rest of the town are down for becoming infected, I guess I'm for it. Though I'd still feel bad about jawapa and norwegianboy then not winning.

For 3, I doubt diff would know. I fully expect the infected role PM to tell us we win if everyone gets infected. But, it could be a bastard mechanic and Onjit certainly is capable of it. It's the perfect thing to do to punish us for using this exploit. If diff had claimed day 1 what his role is we could have all been infected and all won (presuming everyone would agree to it). I suspect there's a counter to that and I fear it's that only Diff would win if the infected does.
