Would people actually join my mafia, if I started one?

Just as interest, will we reach 13 players joining my game? No matter when, I have a very creative, new and amazing idea for it, and I hope you like it. But will there actually be players signing up for it?

What to expect from me?

I will be completely fair, neutral and only stating facts like 'X died', etc. Of all forum users, I can claim, and claim, to be the most active one, but I'll be - other than in earlier tries - patient, waiting, and hearing. I will give 72 hours for a day, 24 hours for a night at maximum, so everyone can discuss everything as well as possible.

What do I expect?

Just another chance to have a try - and that's all.

What is the idea about?

Currently, I told about the idea only to one person, but I can guarantee, that I've evolved this idea long time ago and it's noob safe. The game will also be partly an RPG experiment, that will still be ending fast and with fun, like any other mafia forum game.

I won't share it open at this time, since I really don't want this to be stolen.

I look forward to seeing every of you there!

you can't even play a game properly without having a meltdown, how do you expect to host one?

expected this comment. It's up to you if you want to join or not. I don't expect 3 people to join for sure. And I can play a game correctly.. now..

I do agree that my past is not something you can be proud of, and I am not happy that I joined this forum as my first internet experience. I tried to change twice or three times, called to leave the forums much more, and returned. And I accept it if you're not joining.

I mostly regret that this community has people that do not believe in people changing, but I do, and I have hopes.
You see this community has a place in my heart. It's very addictive no matter how much hate or annoyingness you get.

I have hopes, and - no matter if you fail or not - you have to try and try.

So every night and day every player has to specify where in the city he is. It will be more an RPG styled  like game with lifes, so we can avoid early elimination in the first nights. RPG will give every player some lives (depending on their role more or less). The main idea is to have places:

We see here street blocks and homes. Every player is dedicated to a house. And every block is defined by a position.

Here we can see 6 houses at the bottom (15, 25, 35, 45, 55, 56), 6 at the top right corner (51, 52, 53, 61, 62, 63). Also 4 in the middle (22, 23, 32, 33). In total 16 houses. One of the houses will be declared as the council house (let it be 33 in this case). Every player will get to know that the town hall (council house) is at that position.

There cannot be more players than houses, but there can be less (so there are some homes that do not hold any citizen).

How voting works:

• Voting works exactly the same: Nolynch, or you select a target you want to vote for (or you unlynch).

How role acting works:

• Every person lives in a house since game start.

• Every day every person needs to specify where on the street he is, reason below. If you don't specify any position you'll be placed on the closest street block to your home.

• At night you cannot !kill or !heal, you can only select a block, and you affect all the players that are in your range.

• If you an someone else were on the same square you'll know about that, if you have been taken damage, you will be told so.

Healer

If there's only one person nearby in the 5 nearby blocks: +♥♥ to him
If there are more than two: +♥ to every one.
You're not healed.

You are aligned with the Town. You win if every mafia member gets eliminated.

Detective

You can select any player you want to know the role card of.

Vigilante

3 times in the entire game you can shoot your bullets. You can specify a player you want to shoot at. He will take 2 (♥♥) damage and the maximal amount of hearts will decrease by 1 (♥).

You are aligned with the Town. You win if every mafia member gets eliminated.

Guard

Lifes: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (max: 7)
Every player in the surrounding area of 9 blocks is role blocked (excluding yourself).

You are aligned with the Town. You win if every mafia member gets eliminated.

Jester

Lifes: ♥♥♥♥♥♥ (max: 6)

You are aligned with yourself. You win you get lynched. If you lose your last heart, you lose.

Serial Killer

Every night you go outside for a walk and any player near you loses 3 hearts.

You are aligned with yourself. You win you survive as the last player remaining.

Survivor

You are immune to poison from the Potion Master. For every damage you take, one is absorbed.

You are aligned with yourself. If you survive till the end of the game.

Mafia (2)

You are aligned with the mafia. You win you the mafia has the majority of the population. The mafia may elect one of the mafia members who will use the mafia ability tonight: If in the surrounding area there is only one person, he will lose three lives (♥♥♥), if there are more than one person, everyone will lose one life (♥).

Potion Master

Lifes: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (max: 7)
The area you're in will be poisoned: Every player will be poisoned: Everyone will lose two hearts (♥♥), and the next night one heart  (♥).

Head Master

The main point of this game-experiment is to check out how players will be playing a completely other game, where no one has much experience, how the game would evolve if every player - even townies could have some information - their position. How they would act if some part of the data was anonymous (night actions).

I never made it to the sign ups topic, since task manager and Kira would comment saying in the direction 'no-one should join his game', I really feel depressed since they turn this beautiful community I love into a toxic anti-me section. If you find it useful, feel free hosting, I can give you the images, but I really wanted to host a game - any game.
