Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hi! Welcome to Mafia 22!

4. Dead men tell no tales. Please use the graveyard thread if you have been eliminated.
5. Make all night actions via PM to me.
6. Don't use the mod text color please.
7. Try to post at least once every 24 hours.
8. Days will last 72 hours, or until a majority is reached, nights will last 24 hours.

Re: Mafia 22 [Loaf and Sangas Win]

Whether or not we lynch today someone we might want to talk about who we should lynch or maybe just whether we should lynch or not. Otherwise D2 will have barely any more info than D1.

Re: Mafia 22 [Loaf and Sangas Win]

Also I can't quite remember but in a previous game somebody said that like mathematically either lynching or not lynching D1 was statistically more likely to have a better outcome for town. I'm not having any luck finding it, anybody else?

I'm not sure how you guys ended the day so quickly but I really don't think that was a good idea. We're only robbing ourselves of time that way.

Re: Mafia 22 [Loaf and Sangas Win]

I feel like I should point out that 2B55B5G TNG being new and making bad calls doesn't mean he isn't maf. It just means that he has a reasonable excuse for making bad calls. I think I've seen like 2 people saying "Oh he's not maf just new"

I don't want to agree "too" much with mutantdevle but right now I do think that we should be looking at the people who hammered in the end of day. Hard to say who since they all came pretty rapidly like 20-30min max one after the other. And lots of the people who hammered are either new or have said literally nothing.

It's D1, there is no info. Wait until D2, where a power role should have some kind of info.

Problem with that is that if a power role has some information, they're not going to be openly sharing. We *cannot* count on power roles to save our souls. Besides, this is a role madness game. Pretty much everyone has an ability. Even if a power role does try to influence things, there's little way to tell apart a helpful investigator from a scumlord trying to push us away from their ally. We can only try to guess at true intentions by talking through things.

Hey hi I know we can't edit or delete but 6 in a row seems maybe slightly excessive especially since 8 of those seem to be replying to one person thank you

Not this early in the day for sure. Seriously where are you guys getting all this speed from. Save that for the 2 hours before the day ends and we'd be golden

So are we lynching someone today? How much time do we have left now? 13-ish hours?

Re: Mafia 22 [Loaf and Sangas Win]

Heck I wasn't ready to send that post

Alright we got 13 hours left and 2 equally sized lynch targets. Let's pick one and pay close attention to who tries to push it in any direction.

Personally leaning towards Crybaby since a lot of their posts come off as... I guess "manipulative" to me. I'm really not sure I believe they're actually scum but I think they're a safer bet than Zumza at the moment and I really don't want to enter D3 still with 0 lynches.

Well. Zumza said he voted for Crybaby to provoke a reaction, that looked like a pretty big reaction to me. I definitely feel a lot more confident in my vote now.

Re: Mafia 22 [Loaf and Sangas Win]

What evidence? He did what 5 other people were doing at the time? Yeah when 25BG525 rips his posts out of context maybe he can spin it that way. But that near-miss hammer on him vs you feels a lot more juicy to me.

We went from basically this to nearly ending the day in the time it took me to take a shower.

Re: Mafia 22 [Loaf and Sangas Win]

I need to learn to proofread when I'm in these topics, that "him" in "him vs you" is supposed to be Zumza.

You know I should just add edit history. Then we just enable showing edit history instead of disabling editing altogether.

Is the self-vote part of the same tactic?

Well you need a majority to do that so yeah odds are there's going to be some overlap on those things. How much? Out of curiosity here's a list of people who voted to end D1

  • Kirby

  • Schlog/Anatoly

  • Frex

  • jawapa

  • 2B

  • Crybaby

  • NorwegianboyEE

Here's the list of people who have ever voted for Zumza

  • Anatoly/Schlog

  • TaskManager

  • Frex

  • jawapa

  • Crybaby

Names in common: Frex, jawapa, Crybaby, and Anatoly/Schlog.

Of those, jawapa is the only one I don't really suspect.

Can we get another 24 hours?

At this point we're fairly desperate. Even if you aren't about to be lynched, we're inching closer to the point of no return.

It could be a Sourdough preventing mafia from visiting his loaf teammate

I do agree that it is time to start sharing information
Onion and Sourdough should speak up

I'm also still willing to lynch Zumza, all the more so after minimania's town flip

How does that follow? We didn't lynch Crybaby because of anything to do with Zumza (at least not really), we lynched him because between the two of them, there was a sudden and massive hammer attempt against <The Crybaby Alternative>. I guess that was somehow a coincidence. In any case, I don't think any sane mafia would bring one of their own less than an inch from death like that, so I'm personally more interested in going after the people responsible for the hammering.

With that in mind, the Anatoly/Schlog combo has been acting fairly scummy throughout both people for the whole game. D1 he was completely sliding in under the radar, except when he was needed to end the day early. Since then, he was one of the handful of people to try to speedrun lynching Zumza. Thankfully, he miscounted and didn't end the day 13 hours early but the intent was clearly there.

So until more information comes in,

!vote Anatoly

That was a long, painful, and fairly nonsensical read, but right at the end here. Did you just out yourself as the Soybean?

You are the Soybean.

Not the most appealing, but it’s nice to have an extra option for those that want it.

You are aligned with the Snags. Your teammates are X and Y. You can talk with them here: <link>.

At the beginning of the game, you will be told all unassigned roles, allowing you to more confidently assume a false identity.

Each night, choose a player and send them a private message (via me)

Your team will win when the Snags have a majority of the population.

Guys, the loafs are still on our towns side, good news for us!

Dude even your own faction couldn't defend you at this point lol. Anyone trying to defend you would be straight suicidal.

But this is a helpful bit of info. It means you know that none of the people who voted for you are mafia. Please, for the sake of the town, keep talking.
