Imagine roleplaying with your mom in a dead game.

Also this idea wouldn't really work for most people because I don't think many people have relatives who play ee. Out of everyone I know I know only 2 people who are siblings that both play ee and those are ByteArray and Kentiya. I mean yeah there might be more people who play with their siblings but since the ee player count dropped down massively and eeo is only known to maybe a few hundred people and I don't expect everyone to have a sibling who also wants to play ee.

Why can't I download Cold World?

It's a campaign world - but it's also mine. I need to download this world.

There's a hotkey you can use if you want to override that, we just decided to hide the button because 1. campaign worlds will be packaged with the client and 2. the button wouldn't easily fit because of the campaign info

(Currently on my phone so I can't check, but I think the hotkey was shift+c, otherwise you can find it in the keybinds menu)

EEU basically is HTML5 EE, just without the transfer of data so that 1. we could make a load of improvements that we couldn't do otherwise (e.g. changes to the physics engine, better graphics, etc.), and 2. to make it a lot easier to develop (we don't need to make sure that everything works exactly the same as it did in EE).

The problem with making two HTML5 versions of EE, one with data transfer and one without, is that we'd be splitting both our resources and the community, neither game would be as good as it could have been if we focused solely on that (possibly to the extent that neither are finished before Flash support ends), and the current EE community is small enough that we really don't want to be splitting it in half. We just think that doing this would put EE in even more danger than it already is, we think that we have a much better chance with one good game with a small community than we do with two bad games each with almost no players.

there should be a way to manually download all favourited and user levels at once. it's tedious to go through them one at a time. also that way you can just let it install in the background
