Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Background layer command for EEU

I once played this level that had 'glitch blocks' where someone placed blocks on the background. It got removed before I could've used it or before I knew  about it. I really liked the idea which is why I once suggested bringing it back. That won't happen because it was too glitchy. I was wondering if you guys could maybe add it back in EEU.

Re: Background layer command for EEU

Its generally a good idea in game design to make it obvious how everything will react, to make sure the physics / mechanics aren't confusing, so its probably not the best idea to add blocks that look exactly the same but act differently to others.

Oh. Would be kinda funny if you could make a visible maze but it's just 1x1 holes with reaal and fake blocks. But if it isn't possible, that's too sad.

Re: Background layer command for EEU

From the other side, there are invisible blokcs, that acts in the simmilar way to fake blocks except they make background solid.
In some games graphic blocks and colision blocks, can placed in the different place.
Of course it's not oftenly used/or great idea for collision blocks, but there aren't too many obstacles like making system in the same place like in the game. From the other side it's commonly used for effect/action that oftenly are invisible spots where your physic changes, game autosaves or you have different checkpoint graphic interpretations.

For ee it doens't seem to make levels much better to design (it would be used to do some graphic details (maybe with shadings) or to make sure that player can't jump on some blocks), but still it's just next level of adding invisibility to blocks (we have arrows, we have blocks, next steps would be colisions).

Then why do invisible objects exist?
