Block, can go trough, acts like effect, for every effect (fly, speed, jump, ...)
theres a bool true/false/notdefined (if true then you can specify which values (e.g. jump high, low, but not normal), not defined means if true/false from other such places )
How will it work.
It will give the players permission to /geffect themselves.
Example:
- I set this block with jump to low, everything else is undefined.
- I touch this block.
-> I may now use /geffect jump low (or however it is called)
What can you import other than effects?
The only I can think of is: death -> /kill
I know players already have platforms for changing effect, but this would be faster
Also what about a shortcut: /gef?
can you ddisable the effects too or is it one time? (exept if you chage it that they can) this ould give some nice puzzeligng maps im in maby an command showing what effects you can choose to wear and soemthign to easy see what effect soyure getting before touchign th eblock

let's don't call these effects let's call them "parameters" just not to mess
If your jump parameter is set to true, the effect is still changeable using the normal effect action blocks, but changeable with /geffect
Can't you just put a small thing where you have jump effect with high and low jump? Why implement some weird action block just for effects. Place spikes that are optional or place the effect enabler or disabler.

The concept of allowing players to toggle effects sounds quite nice, but not sure this is the best way to go about it... If it were added as an actual feature in the game, I don't think using commands should be the way to do it, maybe some effects menu similar to the smiley menu or whatever would work better, although I feel like that still might be too confusing...

But just like Gosha said you give yourself an effect whenever you want. It's just like potions, but instead of you paying for it to use it once the owner needs to buy it to use it endless amounts. That's the only difference from potions. Well and potions could be abused if you were to enable potions because of a speed thing but someone uses a fly potion you might aswell just put the trophy at spawn. This is more controllable and it's for the owner but that's all really.
Edit: That differs from potions.
