Simply an invisible block for other players, but for players with godmode, it can be seen and it will make them collide.

This actually sounds pretty neat and could be used to make some interesting levels.
Maybe we could see some worlds that utilize god mode as part of their design.

If it were to be implemented, it should be owner-only.

But can editors delete it?

Also, isn't the point of godmode to be able to fly over blocks?

yes but you cant remove godmode so fater the mini is done then you sitill have it

You would only practically be correct if you were referring to being given godmode by a block after the owner has already left the world.

You're not a game developer, so never make posts like that please. It is actually very easy to implement like realmaster42 said, it's just like colliding with the void of a world so it's possible.

The purpose of god mode is to freely navigate around the level and to be able to reach any part of the world

To introduce a new kind of world, where you get godmode at the start but must complete a series of minigames in order to get the trophy. Perhaps this could go with Godmode Gravity to make it harder, or maybe there could even be a Godmode remover. Just spewing ideas here for this to be viable.

So do another game mode.
god mode would interact with this block, and there could be added another mode that ignore coins too
of course i hope that god mode blocker doesn't block in normal mode

Why not just use dots or zero gravity effect? Why do we need to reinvent the wheel yet again

holy hell, I take it jumping around with a mortal smiley doesn't deliver that much fun anymore? It now has to be done specifically with a colourful aura just for the sake of it?
Anything of this could be done with gravity effects and heal effect and the only difference is presence of an aura

I would actually like a block that forces godmode and takes it away when you touch it again. It would be useful for spectating and viewing minigames before you play them. It could also be used for some creative minis :o

The godmode blocker would be nice too. Could be called a godmode gate.

My only questions is on what layer this would be drawn. Nobody wants an straight line in their level that looks ugly.
Also the thing mentioned by Tomahawk is quite a thing.

I'm sure if you have edit you wouldnt be able to collide, though that may be annoying to test with... Maybe just a command to toggle collision?

maybe the block can be toggled/ untoggled by default its toggled but can be untogled by players with edit using some key + click
