Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

If you don't know how to make one, you're not making a bot.

Yes. I'm sure adding a button was a challenging step for you.
You've just described me and my attitude like 6 years ago.
Little tip: first learn to program some more basic stuff in c#, and then you could ask any question you like.

I take no responsibility for what’s written on that wiki.
Use the forum search feature to find one of the 50 “how to make a bot” threads already made. Some might be of value.
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

Quoting this comment so I can find it easily later when I make my first bot during the summer :3
But mutant, why don't you just bookmark the page it links to?

I also invite you to check out this sticky topic which has the bot tutorials that I could find on these forums.
I wish you luck in your endeavors, but it is best that you strive to solve your programming questions yourself for these reasons:
A) sometimes asking questions here is not met in the most positive light. I mean I don't think we do terribly horrible things... but just not so nice. Perhaps another community can help with the programming-related questions, and we are best capable of the questions pertaining to interfacing with EE.
B) getting into the habit of asking for help will either tax the person who you get that help from, or you won't actually gain the knowledge to fix things. You're not learning, just cobbling.
Regardless, welcome!

thanks! While we/I may have put most of the work into it, the idea behind the wiki was to get others' input and tweaks. So yeah
