Count. to 1000!

In this game, you play as a vampire who wishes to gain enough blood points to become the ultimate vampire!

There are 3 ways you can gain points:

▼Comment

If you write any comment in the thread, you will bite a human to gain blood points equal to your post number divided by 2 (rounded down).

As some examples:
Post 7 would be worth 3 points.
Post 100 would be worth 50 points.
Post 239 would be worth 119 points.

To comment, simply do not attack or defend within your post.

▼Attack

Alternatively, you may bite another player. Biting another player removes 50% of their points (rounded up) and gives them to you.

As some examples:
If mutantdevle attacked Devlin who had 50 points, mutantdevle would gain 25 points leaving Devlin with only 25 points.
If Devlin bit mutantdevle who had 137 points, then Devlin would gain 69 points leaving mutandevle with 68 points.
If mootantdevil decided to steal from Devlin who had 122 points, then mootantdevil would gain 61 points leaving Devlin with 61 points.

To attack another player, simply specify in your post who you want to attack/bite/steal from.

▼Defend

Finally, you could choose to use magical garlic to defend yourself against other vampires. This means that you cannot be attacked for the next 10 posts. If someone does try to attack you during this time, you will automatically steal 10% of their points (rounded up).

As some examples:
If mutantdevle chose to defend on comment 74, he would not be able to be attacked until post 84. If Devlin, who had 678 points, tried to attack mutantdevle during this time, then mutantdevle would gain 68 points whilst Devlin would lose 68 points.
If Devlin chose to defend on comment 103, he would not be able to be attacked until post 113. If mutantdevle, who had 163 points, tried to attack Devlin during this time, then Devlin would gain 16 points whilst mutantdevle would lose 16 points.
If mootantdevil chose to defend on comment 345, he would not be able to be attacked until post 345. If mutantdevle, who had 100 points, tried to attack mootantdevil during this time, then mootantdevil would gain 10 points whilst mutantdevle would lose 10 points.

To defend, simply state that you want to defend within your post.

Players currently in defence mode will be marked in bold with the duration they are defending for.

In a single post, you cannot perform more than 1 of these actions at once. If you do not specify an attacking or defending action, you will automatically comment.

You may also not post twice within the last 5 posts. This means if your post is post number 67, then you cannot post again until post number 62. This means 4 other players would have posted before you do.

Everytime you break this rule, you will lose 10% of your points (rounded up).

Hah! Don't get overly smug there.
What you just did cannot possibly be permissible. You can't just attack someone and then immediately go into defense mode. That just allows you to get free hits on people and be perfectly safe and is very abusable. The rules might need to be better worded though, now that I am reading them again. Nonetheless I'm sure Devlin won't allow you to get away with this. And if he doesn't do anything, well I may need to try your trick out sometime if you know what I mean.

The rules weren't clear enough. (as previous said not only by me) And my actions were made according to them. Applying rules retroactively is abusing.

The previous rules as worded were not obstructing my actions. People were assuming that they can't do it.
I played by concrete, not assumed rules. The previous rules permitted my actions.

The 3 types of actions: attack, defend, comment were definite split. The condition was not to comment again within a 5 posts frame.
