Player-smileys should be indistinguihable from a number system going from 1 to 9. They exist as idenitifers in place of numbers.
Random.org has been used to determine smiley distribution/player order, then role distribution.
All flavour and smileys are solely for our combined enjoyment and have no effect on gameplay. Please celebrate warmly.

Game Rules: Please notice the changes!

1. All forum rules apply, however multi-posting rules are lenient. So long as your posts are relevant to the game it shouldn't be an issue.
2. Do not post in this thread unless you are alive in the game. All posts made by dead players and people not in the game will be deleted.
3. You may not edit or delete your posts. This function will be disabled in this game.
4. If you go too many hours without making any posts and a complaint is raised, you will recieve a prod. Failing to post for the next 24 hours will result in replacement. If somehow you manage to get prodded a third time I will replace you.
5. Do not quote, copy paste, or screenshot any message sent by the game moderator for any reason. Paraphrasing is allowed, such as saying what your role is or does, but don't copy paste an entire role pm word for word.
6. Do not gamethrow. Gamethrowing is defined as actively working against your role/faction's win condition, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.
7. As soon as a descision is made, in overtime or in the normal day, the game enters the twilight phase. The moderator may not be there to lock the thread immediately, but you are allowed to post until the moderator gets back, but votes will not be counted after a desision has been made.
8. You may not talk about the game with living players through any means other than the game thread and Mafia day/night chat. No exceptions.
9. Remember that this is just a game. If I see any form of harassment that may warrant a replacement or modkill. I doubt this will ever happen
10. If any player breaks any of these rules please private message me on the forums and I will deal with it. Do not use the forums report feature to report someone breaking one of the game rules unless they are also breaking a forum rule.
11. The moderator's word is final. If I say not to do something it means don't do it. If you have an issue then it's best to pm the moderator for clarification.

12. My colur is #0ff0da. Do not impersonate the moderator.
13. (not that it is a problem in this setup, but) Absolutely no cryptography is permitted. Do not post encrypted information in this game. For more info PM the mod.
14. Night actions should be PM'd to me. Mafia actions can be submitted VIA private topic. The latest action I get will be executed. Please be consistant in your method to prevent mod error.
15. Night phases will always run their full allotted time unless all living players PM me or post in a PT that they are ready for the night phase to end.
16. Wooting posts is not allowed in this game!!! It can be used as a form of communication between dead and living players. Do not use any woots on moderator or player posts in this thread until the game has ended.

17. Votes should be in h tags to prevent mod error. Bolded votes will also count but run the risk of being missed.

A vote should be in the format:

Vote: HeyNK

or

/vote HeyNK

... just make it obvious.

Setup Specific Rules and information

Days will last 4 irl days during which the thread will be open.
Nights will last 24 hours. The mafia must kill someone during the night: no-kill is not an option.
One of the players in the game is confirmed town by the moderator. However, he cannot be sent to the safehouse.

During the day, instead of lynching mafia, the town votes on someone to put into the safe house. If no majority vote is reached during the day, the player with the highest number of votes is picked. If there is a tie, THE DAY ENTERS OVERTIME. ONLY VOTES FOR THE TIED PLAYERS WILL COUNT. AS SOON AS ANY PLAYER REACHES A PLURALITY, THEY WILL BE SENT TO THE SAFEHOUSE AND THE DAY WILL END. Usually this will look like one player changing his or her vote and then the day ends. During the night mafia kills as normal. Players sent to the safehouse do not have thier role revealed, and can no longer post in the thread.

This is an open setup. 6 VTs + 1 IC vs. 2 mafia goons.

SELF VOTES WILL NOT COUNT IN THIS GAME.
Players in the safehouse will share a private topic.

The safehouse only holds 3 people. So at the end of Day 3, there are 3 people in the safe house. At the end of the third day, a nuclear warhead kills everyone not in the safehouse. All dead players flip as usual.

If it is 3 town, town wins automatically.
If it is 2 scum and 1 town, scum wins automatically.
If it is 1 scum and 2 town, the three safehouse players come back into the thread and participate in a in 3-man LYLO. Town wins if the scum gets lynched, loses if one of the town get lynched.

????, you are the admin of EE. After years of ownership changing hands, you are the one who owns the game, and as such, you want to protect it. HeyNK will confirm your role at the start of the game.

You have three days to choose three people to enter the safehouse. When the world crashes, you will have to leave to go work on server stuff, and as such, you cannot enter the safehouse.

While you are alive and not in the safehouse, during the day, you can vote to send someone to the safehouse and post in the thread here.

In other words, you are an Innocent Child.

Win Condition: You win when the safehouse contains only town-aligned players at the end of d4, or nothing can stop it from happening.

NOTE: You, the innocent child, cannot enter the safehouse. Town cannot choose to send no one to the safehouse during the day. If there is no majority, the person with the highest number of votes will enter the safehouse.

Win Condition: You win when the safehouse contains only town-aligned players at the end of d4, or nothing can stop it from happening.

If there is no majority, the person with the highest number of votes will enter the safehouse. If there is a tie, then the game will enter overtime, and the next vote that causes a majority will count as a hammer end the day.

Win Condition: You win when the safehouse contains at least 1 Mafia-aligned player at the end of d4, or nothing can stop it from happening.

Guess I'll go ahead and hammer him.

Here's a question though, what if he's maf and he gets in? There's nothing we can do, does he just come out and say "haha I'm maf screw you"? We can't vote him out, and since there's only one maf (there *is* only one, right?) it wouldn't change the outcome of the game.
