Welcome to maffia 16. this is my first maffia host so I use some classic roles

This game will have 11 players and it start at 17th October at 17:00 CEST

Typically there is a wait ranging between 1 week to 1 month between each mafia game. I'd recommend locking this thread for now and waiting at least a week or so before re-opening it to give people a bit of a break (also push the deadline back a bit to make way for the pause).

I will signup if others do so but typically people like a break between games and are much more likely to play then.

I don't want to talk about the game outside of it too much but since this doesn't really reveal anything I guess this is fine:

I 100% agree with that. I found it extremely bs that the vote was ignored (and other votes that were in bold were missed as well). The purpose of it is being in bold is indeed to make it stand out more so that it is easier to see. I don't think there should be punishments for not writing in bold (like having your vote ignored) but I do think it is good etiquette on the players part to make their vote as clear as possible.

One thing I would recommend though, to both matt and future game hosts, is when posting vote counts, especially the final vote count, press CTRL+F and type in "vote" for every page since the current day started. That way you can quickly skim through and reliably read all the votes.

To clear up some confusion as to why I quit:

When matt posted marten’s role card, he didn’t remove who his teammates were or the night chat link. Of course, I couldn’t memorise the night chat link but it did mean I saw who the mafia are. I’m neither confirming or denying if I was a part of that list but regardless of my role, I can no longer play.

Some of you are probably confused why I quit if I was scum so here's why:

When I saw Matt had posted the names of everyone who was scum in Marten's role card I overreacted and assumed everyone was going to see it and hence the game would be over and ruined. I didn't expect Matt to fix the issue so quick resulting in only me seeing it. In hindsight, if I had not posted and instead messaged matt to quickly fix it, I would not have had to quit the game. But because my post alluded to me seeing what was snipped, it was basically known that if I wasn't modkilled for seeing that information then I was scum. To my surprise, people didn't take the lack of immediate modkill as a sign I was scum and instead took my leave as a sign I was town. I was not comfortable playing as confirmed town in such a meta way, especially since I was scum, so I stayed silent. I couldn't really play as a confirmed town anyway since people would protest that I knew too much meta and then they'd lynch me after I got an unrighteous free kill by manipulating the town. Overall, it was all just too **** and meta for me to play so I should have been modkilled immediately.

Also for the record I’d also like to say matt was useless at answering people’s concerns. I asked 3 questions in the scum chat, all of which were ignored. He didn’t even say anything like “I can’t answer that” so that left me paranoid over whether our votes to shoot players needed to be in bold (apparently they don’t). Furthermore, my requests to be mod killed in PM were ignored as well. So now my PM’s to matt just look like I’m an emo.

Also 4 of us were scum... that’s OP. Literally 2 of us were mod killed yet we still win.

Hahaha, even the **** PMs had to be in bold? That’s so ridiculous. So votes and PMs need to be in bold but scum night kill votes didn’t. That’s a bit inconsistent.
