Welcome to the Mafia 13!

This is a closed setup.
The rolecards that have been found by the Town on the bodies of dead people will be listed in the 2nd post of the thread.

General Rules
1. All forum rules apply, however multi-posting rules are more lenient. So long as your posts are relevant to the game it shouldn't be an issue.
2. Do not post in this thread unless you are alive in the game. All posts made by dead players and people not in the game will be deleted.
3. You may not edit or delete your posts. This function will be disabled in this game.
4. If you stay inactive too long or not contributing to discussion , you will be prodded for inactivity and replaced if you don't respond to the prod within 24 hours.
5. Do not quote, copy paste, or screenshot any message sent by the game moderator for any reason. Paraphrasing is allowed, such as saying what your role is or does, but don't copy paste an entire role pm word for word.
6. Do not gamethrow. Gamethrowing is defined as actively working against your role/faction's win condition, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.
7. As soon as a majority is reached, it counts as the day being over. The moderator may not be there to lock the thread immediately so do not post after majority is reached.
8. You may not talk about the game with living players through any means other than the game thread and Mafia night chat. No exceptions.
9. Remember that this is just a game. If I see any form of harassment that may warrant a replacement or modkill.
10. If any player breaks any of these rules please private message me on the forums and I will deal with it. Do not use the forums report feature to report someone breaking one of the game rules unless they are also breaking a forum rule.
11. The moderator's word is final. If I say not to do something it means don't do it. If you have an issue then it's best to save until the end of the game as to not interfere with the game.

The sun rises above the Town and the Day 1 begins! This is a short day and will last 24 hours. You can lynch during this day. 7 votes needed for majority.
The day will end on August 9th, 22:00 UTC or when a majority has been reached.

Diff is warning against what (apparently) happened last game where mafia led people onto a person day 1 instead of just going for RNG. I realize voting for RNG is not likely to get a mafia but it is likely to cause some action, like Devlin trying to turn the votes against me. He might be town and is just trying to help, but at least we got something out and we can see other people's reactions to that above me. That's why I voted.

So I have nothing to say really. I liked jawapa's idea but now I don't know how much of it was affected by people talking about the game outside the game. Which is REALLY ANNOYING btw, seriously, respect the game and the rest of us playing.

I don't know what to think about luka and devlin any more.

Jawapa was right about Anatoly, why is he a suspect? Sounds like sonething mafia would push.

I've read through everything and while it was a whole lot of back and forth I basically came out on team jawapa. So if you guys could not hammer him pls that would be nice.

Jawapa came up with a theory about anatoly and friends when there was no pressure on him. Anatoly turns out to be mafia. Now if you are voting to kill jawapa, ask yourself why he would do that, throw his team under the bus out of nowhere. He wouldn't.

I don't like devlin pushing jawapa but I think it would be too obvious for him as mafia to be doing that. Jkdrip is going along with it and I think he is just trying to follow who he thinks is a strong townie.

There was no "drama" that anatoly was involved in at the very beginning of the day. He just deleted his post later and was killed for it. If jawapa was actually scum buddies with anatoly then he wouldn't try to "move to be against anatoly" because that would just draw more attention to his relationship with him. He would just stay quiet like the rest of us were so he would end up neutral just like everybody else. I don't see how you can actually believe what you said there. Even if jawapa isn't right about you or luka, he WAS right about anatoly and that is enough to basically confirm him as town to me.

Well even if that did happen, it just doesn't make sense for jawapa to call him out if he was his teammate. Why am I the only person (except jawapa) that is saying this?

He just wouldn't draw attention to himself and anatoly if he thought anatoly was going to be mod killed. That doesn't make sense.

I think it is likely that Luka is scum, meaning the real doctor will save alphajon even if we kill Luka. I also think it is likely that mafia will not bother going for alphajon because of how much attention you have brought onto saving him. So it is hard to say what will happen tonight and that shouldn't make us not want to lynch luka. Also, who says we have to pick between just those two?

If we can't agree on either jawapa or luka I say we save that for later when it might be easier to decide. We could focus on somebody like slabdrill today if we agree to it.

he is fairly active but isn't saying anything useful. He is just putting his votes down and leaving without saying anything that helps the town. I feel like this only helps the mafia and if he was truly town then he would be more involved, and more thoughtful with how he uses his votes.

I'm ok with lynching luka but like jawapa said you guys weren't getting anywhere. Half the players aren't around right now so I guess I'll wait for a few outsiders to say their opinions.
