Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Spammers, hackers, and etc..

I must say one thing, lrussel was in a world where Lictor shared both a picture and uploaded a picture of a **** pig. Nothing happened he was just talking.
So I guess this is allowed to upload such things?

Hey, you couldn't report back in 2011 right?
Now we have arguably 300 players everyday, and there's a chance we can get banned?

Re: Spammers, hackers, and etc..

Apologies for bringing this thread back to life, but the user given as an example in the OP is still spamming levels (as of about 5 minutes ago.)

As previously mentioned, this user is known to be a shared account. Why are they not banned yet?

I understand Phina's comment (earlier in this thread) about how it's difficult to stick people with IP bans, but can't EE staff remove an account they know is shared?

Seems like one of the easiest ways to evade a ban is via using shared accounts, as multiple people using them can make it confusing as to who is doing the spamming.

This is broader than one specific user. I've seen other shared accounts receive temporary bans, what is the point of this? If an account is shared, the only sensible thing to do is hit them with a permaban.

If we report in-game, how long does it take for the action to be taken into hands?
Because if all moderators/admins can't do their jobs, then i believe we need someone else on board.
No I'm not telling you how to do your job, but you sure as hell not a moderator for no reason. Am i right?

Don't respond with an asinine response either. Yes, we know there are report options in-game. But that doesn't handle the situation.
Even when i do report the problem doesn't seem to get solved because i see the player still playing 3 days later...

Also, don't tell me the game is dying and the admins/moderators don't care. Well, if that's the case then someone else needs to do their job.

this could be one of the reasons players quit and the player-base is dropping. Because people act like they don't care...
If you really don't have enough encouragement to even moderator or to control the community in your game then shut it down..
There's no reason to have a game running if it's just going to have a malevolent, inconsiderate, and osculant jerks in it.. waste of money to have it running if you're paying for it to be up..

or w eneed to get  new owner....

I was under the impression they were permabanned. It must have been a mistake, but it's taken care of now. Apologies.
