I had like 5 videos like this from 2012 that I deleted in 2013, in a fit of embarassment. ;/ Then, later that summer, my computer crashed and I lost all the iMovie files. I wonder if there's a way to retrieve them. They were g0ld! :L If anyone wants to try, heres the links:

I'm about ready to record Episode 1, and I'll need a few volunteers to play some characters!

I need 3 to 4 people to be random villagers. You must be able to follow the directions I give, moving and chatting when I tell you.

No staff members, sorry. You guys are special characters later in the series!

I will need everyone about 1 hour or less after this is posted tomorrow (time to be determined). Contact me in the EE Discord (offtopic).

While the story is kind of interesting the characters aren't. The video didn't communicate interesting character personality to me. None of the dialogue stood out other than a funny comment near the beginning.

The video as a whole also seemed kind of dull and slow. The climax of the episode feels like it could have made more of an impact, had there been more dramatic music, more build-up, and a reason to get at least somewhat emotionally invested into the characters. Something bad happening to somebody isn't very compelling in itself but maybe we'll get more character depth later.

Perhaps I'm asking a bit much from the first episode, but the goal of a first episode of a series is to make the viewer interested into seeing more. The only thing that interests me about the series so far is the mysterious and ominous atmosphere, but that's just enough to make sure I'll check in to see what happens next.

Everybody Edits is kind of like in its own self-contained bubble so I'm not sure that videos about Everybody Edits will get many people interested that are outside of the bubble. Original content won't get much attention, while videos made for fans of memes and popular media will.

Episode 2 (of 3) kept getting delayed, so I decided to push it to late July, after I finish my current project. The world is built, so I just need to record and edit.
