While I think that is a little bit extreme - it would be amusing to see (got to have some cameras set up) and the gif was horrifying (but I am squeamish so tone down my answer a little).

how is it taking someone's gems if they're willing to give them? either way the point is completely moot since i didn't get them anyway, m1 was joking, i was joking, and gka was never banned

so um... wanting to make sure i wasn't unfairly warning someone means i'm a bad mod i guess.
and since i feel like i have to now justify every delay in regards to moderation, the reason it took me four hours to reply to this because i got a package i'd been waiting all day to get four minutes after your post, the next hour was shenanigans, the hour after that was recovering from shenanigans, and then the hour after that was me taking a nap

either way, both of these seem really nitpicky.

mordlex21 was 100% an alt; there was no ee user with that username in addition to the fact that it was a VPN. kira was impersonating someone else's alt, and admitted to doing so afterwards.

Why there has to be an EE user with that username? It is forbidden to someone who doesn't play EE to join EE Forums community? And if it was a VPN whats the problem? It is not rightful to ban people just because they want to keep their informations private...
I am sure that the staff is not against users and if they want to ban somebody their judgement is correct. But the reasons you imply are just not polished.
