Mafia 9 Game Thread (MAFIA + MAXI WIN!!!)

The important differences between this game and previous ones are listed in the signup thread. I'm lazy so I copypasted Rhaz's rule list.

1. All forum rules apply, however spam and multi-posting rules are more lenient. So long as your posts are relevant to the game it shouldn't be an issue, but don't push it.

2. Do not post in this thread unless you are alive in the game. All posts made by dead players and people not in the game will be deleted. No exceptions.

3. You may not edit or delete your posts. This function will be disabled in this game.

4. Do not quote someone else's post and edit for misleading purposes.

5. You must stay active and contribute to discussion to stay in the game. If you stay inactive too long, you will be prodded for inactivity and replaced if you don't respond to the prod within 24 hours. Earning more than one prod will result in you being replaced or modkilled.

6. Do not quote, copy paste, or screenshot any message sent by the game moderator for any reason. Paraphrasing is allowed, such as saying what your role is or does, but don't copy paste an entire role pm word for word.

7. Do not gamethrow. Gamethrowing is defined as actively working against your role/faction's win condition, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.

8. As soon as a majority is reached, it counts as the day being over. The moderator may not be there to lock the thread immediately so do not post after majority is reached.

9. You may not talk about the game with living players through any means other than the game thread and Mafia night chat. No exceptions.

10. Remember that this is just a game. If I see any form of harassment that may warrant a replacement or modkill.

11. If any player breaks any of these rules please private message me on the forums and I will deal with it. Do not use the forums report feature to report someone breaking one of the game rules unless they are also breaking a forum rule.

12. The moderator's word is final. If I say not to do something it means don't do it. If you have an issue then it's best to save until the end of the game as to not interfere with the game.

Hi, so I missed all the D1 fun part, but here I am, and I am determined to catch up by memeing D2.
People you should cut JaWapa some slack, I mean noone would make a serious claim about being mafia, and it's still D1.
But since I just joined I'll still make my absolutely random vote on someone. Congratulations Kirby, you win

Well, what bothers me is the fact that the "quote" is placed under the word. ‘ ’  “ ”  ' '  " " are all ok, but I just find using ,, ugly.
I wanted white text because I thought it renders nicely, and then I remembered the different themes.

Well, I didn't have much to say, apart from the votes on JaWapa, and since when is having fun going retard?
I also doubt Kirby's going to be lynched, or even get more than my single vote.

Its high time we decide if we do something or not.

What kind of something? lynch someone? Not going to lynch JaWapa, because I don't trust the bandwagon (not the people in it, but the wagon itself)

You mixed something up here. Kuba is still playing, I replaced someone else who didn't even post. Also never voted JaWapa, and certainly won't D1.
tbh Bimps looks like he's not going to help much, like the previous games. Will maybe vote for him.

Well if there is a jester I'm OK with lynching him, it's not like the number of town decreases, plus it would let him win. Obiously the priority is still mafia.

I'm not surprised to see Proc die N1, because he's often targeted early when not mafia.
No offense Marco, but I don't consider your meters accurate, because you're just taking individual posts and rating them. You lose a lot of context this way.
Well at least I consider you confirmed if someone asks me. But it still wasn't worth. You probably lost your vigging ability by killing Pyro.

MafiaScum vigilante can still shoot even after killing a townie.

Not so sure about him being able to do so here, in every single previous game he would lose his ability on townkill. Marco can you confirm or deny this?

Usually about half of us are citizens. That's just an approximation though

When I rolled it the second time it rolled on me, so I understand, I guess
Obviously the game's a bit more subtle than just random picking, so I didn't vote him.
As for Smitty, I don't know what to think. I also pulled a fake claim in day 1 of the 7th game, but in the end it just backfired (I admit the circumstances were different, but still).

Well, seems like Mafia doesn't work out well for him, so I'll just stick to the spot until death.

I'm busy now though, so I'll only post in a few hours (say about 3, maybe 4). And man there sure is a lot of reading in here. LOTS of walls of texts suddenly appearing out of nowhere.

We are 9, among which probably 3 are mafia. And with that, a Brucekiller that could potentially kill(unconfirmed) other people too.
Marco: Don't announce any more of your kills. Because should you announce a mafia, they will just roleblock or kill you while they will let you freely kill the others.
Basically either a 3v6 or a 3v1v5. The latter would mean end of game if we don't lynch every night. (Unless there are only 2 mafia)

About the "Brucekiller", I'm willing to let him alive (at least for now), because the priority is mafia, and mostly because I think his win condition basically sums up to killing Bruce and staying alive, and I'm not even sure about the staying alive part. Or could be the in the likes of a modified Executioner+Jester from the first EE mafia game, where he has to kill Bruce then get lynched to win. (Imagine the madness if he was also a serial killer)

You're not in my lynch-book, but don't get your hopes too high either. Also the more confirmed someone is, the more likely he is to get mafia-targeted.

My main suspicion is on Unau. I mean, look at his posts. He's basically doing almost nothing, and just stepped in to vote on Kubapolish.
Maxi123 seem legit enough for me.
Can't tell much about Creature or Bobithan.
Evilbunny is kind of neutral in my opinion.
I'm not sure about Zumza though. He contributes, but I don't really agree with his choices.

Dude, you do indeed realize we are in a situation where if we dont lynch anyone we are screwed badly.

I know that. And I'm all for lynching Unau. His behavior is the most spot on of us all.

Because claiming my role will suddenly make people consider me town instantly? If it was some kind of PR with a defensive ability like a bulletproof, ok, I'd claim, but this isn't the case.
Everyone claiming his role is not happening. At best I can see the Bruce killer claim if he's already won
