Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Vote count:

Pyromaniac:marcoantonimsantos, Maxi123

Kirby:Bimps

I can tell that the players are getting apathetic about the game. I understand it happens. If I get a unanimous vote I can can the game, but otherwise the game should be ending soon ™.

Nobody will be lynched today. Night begins. Night will end on May 27 at 4 PM EST. Night may be skipped if all scum and all Town with night actions agree.

Re: Undertale Mafia game thread

This was it. The last member of the genocide had fallen. Kirby begged for mercy, but it was hopeless.

Kirby was Muffet!!!

Marco looked at Maxi and said good job, but then Maxi pulled a knife on him!!! Gaster lay dead at the ground, and Maxi had a grin on his face. He finally did it. He erased the timeline.

Game over!!! Frisk wins!

Some notes on a few roles in the game I should have changed before running this game.

Toriel-I should have just gone ahead and made this a Doctor rather than throwing a bunch of different protective abilities together. Plus the ability to block all visitors instead of just kills isn't too great in this setup because of how few scum abilities it blocks.

Gerson-Creature and Calicara said this role was OP because it was a Cop that ignores Framers and Mafia roleblockers. Keep in mind I had neither of those in this setup. The thing is though, the real reason this role was OP was because it got its results faster than a 3 Shot Daycop or 3 Shot Nightcop would. Either of those roles are fine to use, but combining the two the way I did made a Cop that got results way too fast.

Gaster-This ability is reminiscent of 1 Shot Reviver roles, where it's better off as a mechanic rather than a full role. I should have buffed the crap out of this role to compensate for that and have more than just a 1 Shot ability and a temporary post death ability.

Asriel-When I was making this setup I contemplated giving the last remaining Mafia a 1 Shot Vanillaize to use on top of their kill, but I ended up just adding a Vanillaizer instead. I know that Vanillaizer is strong as hell, but the restrictions I put on this one were too much. By night 2 I already regretted that I hadn't made it act on even nights instead of third nights.

Frisk/Chara-This role was inspired by a mechanic made by my friend Metrion. In his Blazeblue themed game, he had a role called Hazama, where two players would recieve this role. On top of that both players would recieve a second rolecard. The differences between my modification and the original role is that the original role sets one as Town and one as a Serial Killer from the start, but my version has the alignments decided by whoever dies first. I choose this because it was less swingy, as it removes the 50/50 chance of an extra kill per night and just gives an extra kill per night no matter what. I added it to the game assuming one would die early on, and I think Smitty did a great job baiting Mafia onto him, but the Mafia were looking entirely at the roles they were attacking rather than the players they were attacking. Had one died earlier, the dead player would choose to side with either Town or Mafia. They would gain an ability to use at night depending on who they sided with. Town would give them an ability to target a player each night and delay the death of that player if they were attacked, and Mafia would gain the ability to make a player Ascetic each night. The survivor would become a Serial Killer and gain a 1 Shot Gladiator ability. Unfortunately by the time one died there wasn't gonna be another night after that and the gladiator ability would make no difference.

Re: Undertale Mafia game thread

That was an experimental mechanic, and you two were my guinea pigs. I think it would have gone a lot better if one of you had died earlier on, and I think Smitty was doing a great job at baiting Mafia on to him. I think Smitty would have been a better kill than JaWapa honestly.

Neutral is really fun. The one game I played as a Serial Killer was probably my favorite. Also I'm still working out the next game.

Honestly, playing paired up can have a few advantages, but it has a good chance of biting you.
Seriously, the chance of both of us dying doubles. Its not fun.
Its an interesting concept, but it proves to be ultimately useless. The reason Mafias need a private chat is to say some things they cant just say in front of everyone, but there isnt anything i can say just for Onjit that i cannot say to the town, since i have no secrets.
Dont use this mechanic Rhaz. People having it have a huge disadvantage

That mechanic was actually Proc's idea lol.
