Undertale Mafia game thread

1. All forum rules apply, however spam and multi-posting rules are more lenient. So long as your posts are relevant to the game it shouldn't be an issue, but don't push it.

2. Do not post in this thread unless you are alive in the game. All posts made by dead players and people not in the game will be deleted. No exceptions.

3. You may not edit or delete your posts. This function will be disabled in this game.

4. Do not quote someone else's post and edit for misleading purposes.

5. You must stay active and contribute to discussion to stay in the game. If you stay inactive too long, you will be prodded for inactivity and replaced if you don't respond to the prod within 24 hours. Earning more than one prod will result in you being replaced or modkilled.

6. Do not quote, copy paste, or screenshot any message sent by the game moderator for any reason. Paraphrasing is allowed, such as saying your night result or what your role is, but don't copy paste an entire role pm.

7. Do not gamethrow. Gamethrowing is defined as actively working against your role/faction's win condition, and is dealt with on a case by case basis.

8. As soon as a majority is reached, it counts as the day being over. The moderator may not be there to lock the thread immediately so do not post after majority is reached.

9. You may not talk about the game with other players through any means not approved by the moderator. This includes dead players. No exceptions.

10. Remember that this is just a game. If I see any form of harassment that may warrant a replacement or modkill.

11. If any player breaks any of these rules please private message me on the forums and I will deal with it. Do not use the forums report feature to report someone breaking one of the game rules unless they are also breaking a forum rule.

12. The moderator's word is final. If I say not to do something it means don't do it. If you have an issue then it's best to save until the end of the game as to not interfere with the game.

If you have any questions you can pm me or post in this thread, however keep in mind that questions relating to the current game I will likely not be able to answer, so only ask about game mechanics.

Roles are being sent out. There will be no confirmation phase. The game will begin once everyone has received their role. Please note the change to rule 9. That rule will be enforced more heavily this game.

The timeline is being threatened. In the past it was just the occasional reset, but now a group known as Genocide is threatening to take full control over this and all other timelines. Some of the very people you're talking to may not be the most trustworthy. The best way to do this is to throw someone into the core today.

Day 1 begins! Day 1 will end on April 30 at 6 PM EST or when majority is reached. There is a lynch today.

Nobody could believe their eyes at what happened last night. The dust of their dead comrades lay in front of them. They were being killed one by one. Among the dust was a blue jacket and a red scarf.

Capturing humans is hard work. Undyne sees something in you, but fighting isn't it. All the pasta in the world won't help stop the genocide, but with help from your brother anything is possible.

Fighting was never your strong suit. Actually doing anything never really was either. You know that any time you achieve something, it can go away at any moment, leaving you with no memory. When you heard that the timeline was being threatened even more, you knew you had to lock it down.

The monsters were all divided on JaWapa and Creature. Everyone knew that at least one of them was not to be trusted. The alterior motives were showing from both, but in the end Creature was picked to be thrown into the core.

As the mob came up to Creature, he surrendered. His arms fell off like nothing and he appeared to break down right there.

I just wanted everyone to have hope...

Every once in a while, a human falls into Mount Ebott and is trapped in the underground. Every time that happens, you set out to kill them and capture a human soul. With the power of six human souls you nearly freed your people and destroyed humanity, but a young child made you realize that mass murder is not the way to give your people hope. Then the genocide arose, and you knew your people needed a leader to keep the timeline safe.

At any point during the day you may PM the moderator to reveal yourself. When you reveal yourself your rolecard will be posted publicly and you will be confirmed to be aligned with the Pacifists. After you reveal you may not be targeted by any actions other than kills.

Then Zumza came forward. "I was attacked last night but ghosts can't die. I'll just leave to make my killer feel better. Sorry..."

What a shame. Nobody ever notices you. The most recognition you've ever got was from your main customer at the snail farm. When genocide came in to take over the timeline though, you decided to take action to be noticed. What better way to be noticed than to put not being noticed to your advantage?

Twice per game at night you may choose to follow a player. You will be told who that player visits, if they visit anyone at all.

Everyone was perplexed and relieved though, as they heard words from Luka504 being spoken. For the duration of day 3 Luka may post in the game thread. He is still dead, and thus has no vote and does not affect majority.

I used to be a hero myself, back in the old days. Gerson, the Hammer of Justice.

Aside from the king and queen, you are the oldest monster in all of the underground, and were alive for the war that sealed monsters underground. You've been around long enough to know what someone is up to just from looking at them, and shopkeepers immunity lets you observe even the most vicious without fear of harm.

Once during the day and twice at night you may choose to investigate a player. You will be given a guilty or innocent result on that player.

Once the great queen of the underground, you got worried about your husband's ways. Every single human who entered the underground was destined to be killed by Asgore. You couldn't bear to live with that, so you left to the ruins and dedicated your life to taking care of any child who came into the underground. The threat of genocide though brought you out of hiding, and now you'll put that caretaking to the test to stop the timelines from being taken over.

Twice per game at night you may choose to protect a player from all attacks.

Once at night you may redirect all visitors from one player onto yourself.

Once you may choose to simultaneously roleblock a player and prevent anyone else from visiting them.

Night 4 begins. Night 4 will end on May 20 at 2 PM EST. Night may be ended early if all scum and a majority of Town agree to skip night.

You're gonna have to try a little harder than THAT.

If someone is in your way, you can kill them any day. If someone wants to take over the timeline, deal with them yourself. The king wants you to not take matters into your own hands, but what does fluffybuns know about dealing with enemies? Striking you down only makes you stronger.

Only once at night you may kill a player you deem as evil.

If you are lynched you may kill one of the players who voted you the following night.
