why would the mafia not target rhaz?
either:
- they did target rhaz, but the mafia doing the killing was witch'd to w24
- they can't target rhaz, because rhaz is mafia/witch

now that ninja is confirmed as mafia I guess we can trust Rhaz.

Fair points, I didn't think he was mafia, I was just putting it out there. However, he could still be witch, in which case, if he was targeted at night it would have been redirected to his target?

IMO Rhaz is actually Sheriff.

I have my thoughts on who the rest of the mafia is, but I think I'll keep it to myself until I can get some sort of evidence to justify my hunches.

Basically Rhaz is saying that just because he was one of the people targeting Ninja, that doesn't mean that he is innocent. He could have sacrificed his teammate to make us think he is Town.

How likely is this? Your guess is as good as mine.

As much fun as it is to throw childish insults at each other, I think we have a few options:

1. We argue for some more, hoping someone slips (they probably won't), and discuss our hunches.

2. Rhaz (who we all agree is like 99% confirmed sheriff) gives us some real evidence, so we can lynch properly.

3. We decide to nolynch again, since the odds will still be in our favour if 1 townie dies (3scum:4town) and since it's very likely that there is a protective town/escort still alive.

▼maths

the maths behind point 3 ( i think it's right )
there are 5 town left.
2 are confirmed citizens
1 is a killer (random cannot be killer)

that leaves the 2 random town (i'll call them PR and PRc because one of them could be a citizen)

the remaining possible PRs are:
sheriff
doctor
escort
medium

since rhaz is prob. sheriff, that leaves:
doctor
escort
medium

for PR (cannot be citizen)
2/3 chance of being able to prevent a killing

for PRc (could be citizen)
1/2 chance of being able to prevent a killing

now, because PR and PRc can't have the same role, the odds of BOTH of them being able to prevent a killing is:
(2/3)x(1/3)=(2/9)
or 22%

the odds of at least ONE of them being able to prevent a killing is:
[(2/3)x(1/3)]+[(1/3)x(2/3)]+[(2/3)x(2/3)] = (8/9)
or 89%

The odds of us mislynching today, putting us at a very serious risk of losing (by putting us at 3town:3scum on D5), is 63%

There's a 89% chance that there is at least one town that can prevent a death the next night.

If we don't lynch today, and let Rhaz try to investigate who the scum are, we will have an advantage in D5.
Rhaz can't be roleblocked, since there is no consort in this game
He probably won't be killed either, since there is a 44% chance that there is a doctor, and a 16% chance that the escort chooses the right person to block
also the witch might f things up but idk at least there won't be a death

tl;dr my best suggestion is a nolynch

I don't agree with voting Anak.

On D2, he claimed that he was contacted by the Blackmailer (here)
If this is true, this means that he cannot be mafia (still could be witch however)
OR he's been playing the longcon and this is his ace-in-the-hole in case of an emergency.

So my biggest suspects are Kaslai, Maxi, Calicara and AlphaJon.

unlike you I don't make votes without hard evidence.

you realise that this is a social game? there is no hard evidence, until someone dies. Even Rhaz, as the sheriff, cannot be trusted as his information may have been (s)witched, he can't see the witch, and someone may be framed. even if his information was always right, he might not even tell us, for strategic reasons. the whole purpose of this game is to make decisions based on people's actions, not on hard evidence. so using "where's the evidence??" as a counter is complete bs.

I'll mention that having the majority be 4 votes instead of 5 skewed the results at the end, since the scum only had to convince one other person, but eh, what can ya do
