Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump?

Being good at business doesn't qualify him to be fit for the role of President. There will definitely be countries that are our allies which will lose immense respect for us if Donald Trump becomes president. He has no respect for others, nobody is going to respect him as a person, let alone a leader.

He has knowledge of business, but he himself has claimed bankruptcy 4 times just for personal gain. What makes you think someone like this should be in charge of our entire economy?

He doesn't care about what other people say, he thinks everything he says is right, which is an absurdly horrid flaw to have in your personality if you're going to be President. How does he plan on getting any legislation passed or have a normal debate with Congress if he's just going to speak arrogantly to everyone there as if he's the only person in the room that knows what he's doing? When in reality, he's less qualified than anyone in that room.

This also ties in with the fact that he has zero government experience whatsoever. He's never once served in a government job of any sort. Yea, the problems we have in the United States are completely different from the ones that they had 200 years ago, but someone with no experience in foreign policy and governmental issues is definitely not the one to come up with a solution.

Our (UK) parliament has actually discussed banning him from our country, to add.

Might I also say that: America is not a business, it's a country. Just because Trump turned 1 million into 4 billion doesn't mean he can run a country. If it does, you may as well vote for Apple's CEO.

Blacks are like this thanks to poverty. If blacks had as much money as whites did, they wouldn't be doing what they are now.

A country ain't a business. There's much more to it than debt. I'm not saying you need a plan for everything, but just attacking debt is not enough.

To prevent terrorists to get in the USA easily isn't the only reason the USA should refuse refugees. It's recently been confirmed (even though most people already knew this for a long time) that 60% of refugees are economic migrants, they lie they are Syrian refugees and often have fake passports just to get free money.

I personally don't think it's a good idea to leave it up to someone who's claimed bankruptcy 4 times to solve our debt problems

but i guess that's just me

He filed bankruptcy 4 times because he was exploiting laws.  He wasn't actually out of money.

Should look further into the propaganda that is spread around; you'll learn there is usually more to the story.

Bringing up "knows how to exploit laws and has done it in the past" as a positive thing for your candidate doesn't sound very convincing.

Why not?  He didn't do anything illegal.  He was able to find a loop hole and make his business better.  Doesn't sound wrong to me.

He's talked about making it easier for businesses: reducing taxes, regulations, etc.  This would allow more businesses to start, and would bring more businesses back to the United States.

When you have a job, taxes are taken out.  When you have more workers, you have more income tax.

Trump wants to adjust taxes to annual income.  So the lower class wouldn't be getting taxed to death, and more people would be able to pay their taxes.  Thus, government is getting money to pay off the national debt.

Of course, all of this would be useless if government spending isn't adjusted, and I haven't seen any of that from any of the candidates.

I wrote this in pieces, I was busy on other stuff.  Really short summary:
more businesses = more jobs = more tax revenue = less national debt = better economy

That's even worse than actually being bankrupt

The fact that he exploited laws for personal gain and attention just shows how morally void he is

Nope, try again.

Who would file bankruptcy for attention?  That doesn't even make sense.

Can we stop with the strawman fallacy? Apparently we're all guilty of it... and it doesn't really make for a good discussion.

Revoking one liberty and making one decision does not instantly make us a dystopian society/book/story. The concept of snowballing legislation is outside the scope of "who should be the next president."

@Insanity: Four bankruptcies show four mistakes. A multi-billion dollar net worth shows learning from those mistakes.

@Jawapa: Indeed, your wording probably lacked some finesse. You could have spun the bankruptcies as "he knows his rights and where his government was ready to help him" or something cheesy like that.

@Jawapa: you aren't helping your campaign by telling us how trump is a shady character. Mind you, I haven't done any research on the subject. And I'm taking the points you folks make with a grain of salt because this is EE after all. BUT if he really was just exploiting the government, you aren't helping by telling us that.

Unfortunately, I don't know if we can colonize the moon.
On a happier note, if you're want Cruz to win, he's winning more states and if you add the delegates from the republican's who've dropped out to him, he's pretty even with Trump.
EDIT: I just found out Cruz dropped out. I wonder why I didn't find out sooner =P
