Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Every time I personally see many hook jumps in a level I realize the level is probably built by a person that wants to annoy you. One hook jump is okay, but a level filled with them, I know what I do when I see 3 hook jumps in a row, I leave. Hook jumps really annoy me, but I can sometimes complete one and just go on but it takes a while to get used to a hook jump. Another variety of the hook jump is the 1*1 block hook jump. These are harder than the regular hook jump but they are still possible, even for someone who started a couple of days ago. Sometimes hook jumps make me want to break my laptop, but I don't as some people know: a bad PC=No PC.

This was discussed so many times. And yes, hook jumps are in general considered to be built by uncreative, probably very new players.
And many of them in a tight space does mean low quality.
I think that hook jumps should only be used between other minigames, to fill a tight spot or giving players a high risk failing it.

I think a strategic hookjump can be placed once in a world, they aren't difficult Personally 1x1s are the easiest things out there too and they take up some space that may otherwise be some boring jump.
Thank you eleizibeth ^
I stack my signatures rather than delete them so I don't lose them

I agree only one hook jump well placed, but 3 in a row is too much idk any nub that does that
