Yes, if the topic stays open. So far we have a handful of arguments that this thread would save a small amount of time for some users.   But if you choose to switch your profile from private/public to the other option, are you going to remember to come to this thread and update your status? Will OP maintain this list? Will people really come to this thread to check, which requires much more thought and effort than just clicking the little icon next to the player name?

The OP (me) WILL update this post, and people SHOULD post here again if they change their profile status.   It should be in GD, I guess.   If anything, it should be stickied so that it helps more people, as well as more people adding their status.   It's useful if we get a lot of posts.   Which is why it should be stickied, thus starting a neverending cycle....

Tl;dr: It's going to be updated, people should update their status, please move it, please sticky it, don't close it.
