You can be annoyed all you want.  It will be done when it gets done.

Most of the team has been working for hours on top of hours, every single day for 3 weeks trying to get this done.  Feel lucky we're even working on updates.  We could have let this game die in February.

Ive never seen that in a free flash game. Paid updates are mostly on paid games.

A lot of the good DLC in video gaming is usually around $40. Thankfully, that isn't the case.

Dear admins/mods: Just tell us that it will be released by some feasible date (Not tomorrow, but something like next week or within the next 2 weeks) so that nobody gets excited for the "tomorrow release". If it comes out even before that date, people will just take it as a pleasant surprise and be very happy, instead of mad that you said tomorrow too many times and that they won't believe you.

Edit: Also, for everyday you say it will be released and it doesn't, release a spoiler instead, but make it really cryptic, that way every one can be focusing on that teaser instead of the update being delayed!

• Update timing
As much as we'd like to release updates on a set schedule, we're doing this in our free time and we're not a professional game developing company. This means we'll release stuff whenever it's ready. We prefer you having to wait a little while and deliver something good over rushing things that turns out not to work.

From the stickied posts regarding the team of EE.
As the post says, you can see that they only do this in their free time and that they will release things whenever they are ready.

The second/third sentence is the real important part, though. The longer it takes, the higher the quality of the update. If you all really want a buggy, messed up update, they can release it now, but if not (as many people do not want a buggy update), they will release it later.
