Mafia. Round 1

Who wants to play a game of Mafia?
(You may have heard it called Rabbits & Wolf or something)

The rules are simple:
(We can try more complicated rules in later games, but we'll start simple)

- Someone is randomly selected to be the mafia leader.
- Every day, the mafia will choose someone to die.
- The next day, the townspeople (including the mafia leader) discuss who they think the murderer is.
- They vote on someone to lynch (and kill)
- If they are right, and they kill the mafia leader, the townspeople win.
- If they are wrong, then an innocent person dies and the mafia leader kills someone the next day.

Signups are closed for this game, if this is successful, you can join game 2 if you missed this one.

It is the dead of the night. Not a sound in the air. The mafia leader speaks into a phone, and suddenly there is a squealing of tires in the town. Some gunfire. Then the sound of a car driving away.

The next morning, all the townspeople wake up and find that Creature has been killed.

Who is the killer?

this first game is kind of just a test, with very basic rules. Just townspeople and the mafia leader.

the next game, I'll introduce detectives, etc.

not voting is an option, and if the entire town decided not to vote, no-one would be lynched. however, if anyone does vote, then that's a majority.

A consensus on who the murder was could not be reached. No-one was lynched.

The mafia leader will kill again. Just wait.

Started a new game. Hopefully it doesn't die like the last one

it wasn't really inactivity, it didn't help, but i suppose a 2 day break after the first day + half the people forgetting the game exists was the reason.

maybe with more roles, people will be more likely to play
