The woot sign is there for me to see at least what amount of people tried an failed.
I personally believe that woots should not be given for any reason except the player liking the level and thinking it deserves it. Having multiple "reasons" to use woots only makes the woot economy more confusing.

If the player doesn't want to woot because they didn't like the level / think it's stupid, I'm O.K. with it.
Although, if they did woot, thank you for helping me see how many people tried and failed.
