Saved World Versions

There should be something where you can go back to an earlier save on your world. i think this would be laggy so maybe up to 5 saves back at most. this could be useful if you accidentally saved something you didn't want or want to undo something.

could be interesting but it also effectively gives you 5x as many worlds

hmm... i guess it does if u use it that way... dang it. well see problem with making 5 though, if u do that then:

when saving this is what'll happen. (let's say your 5 worlds are "amazing", "minigames", "stairs", "race", and "boss".)
save 1 amazing
save 2 minigames
save 3 stairs
save 4 race
save 5 boss

now what happens when u wanna change stairs and save it?

save 1 minigames
save 2 stairs
save 3 race
save 4 boss
save 5 stairs (revised)

and "amazing" is gone. so its hard to make 5 worlds. if you wanted to change it... ouch. and even if you're cycling through 2 worlds, thats still pretty hard. one or two mistakes and boom... one of the two may just be gone.

Hasn't this been suggested at least a dozen times before? Of course it would be helpful, but it would have to be more like two different save slots, not five.
