Anyways, you throw the penny right on the very top of the shrine. He does that, and then the floor mysteriously quakes, and a person comes out of the shrine.
"Where is the penny?" He asks.

...he lost his grip on the penny, which resulted in the penny drifting away from him at a very slow rate. Ryan continues falling with the penny, and over time the penny drifts so far away from him he can't see it. Sadly, he falls for so long he dies of starvation, rots leaving nothing but a skeleton. Meanwhile, the penny miraculously landed on a small floating island made up of dirt and a puddle of water, then...
