I remember picking up a lot of different types of slimes. I must've remembered wrong. Anyways, let's take a cell sample from the blue one and put that under the microscope, instead of just sticking the whole thing in there.

Edge removed a cell and placed it under the scope.

It was a simple organism: They could reproduce by mitosis, and become stronger by reverse mitosis. It seemed that each color had a different effect... The blue ones seemed to be the most basic offensive.

After a long trek, they finally find themselves back in the laboratory. They have barely a second to look around before a purple beam burns a hole half a foot from Edge's head.

A young girl walks over.

"Why are you still here?"

Well, based on that laser blast, I believe she might be right there. I ask if she's sure she's okay, then take her advice (bringing her along if she says she DOESN'T feel like she can handle the situation). (Based on what I've seen ingame today, I wouldn't be fazed if she said she was fine.)
