Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

... Ok, I finished my sig 3 hours ago and I will upload it soon. During those 3 hours I was in a car riding up here to visit my grandparent's. Plenty of time to think about anything. One of those thoughts was:

My Head wrote:

What if we asked RPG and Alex to post some of their favorite brushes here?

That would certainly help all of us. And maybe ask them to make a tutorial on how they made their favorite image.

EDIT:
Siggie.gif Not really my style, but if there are any emo's on here then I can do something like this... Whatever it is...

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

Nah, I can give you the .psd in 3 days but, like I said, WTFweird isn't my style. And I can't photoshop with photoshop //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile until those 3 days. My granparents have macs, just one PC I'm trying to fix for them. It used to run XP but now it runs Me. I think I have everything I need to fix it, though. I wonder if CS3 runs on Me...

EDIT: PMing Alex and RPG
Done.

RPG has agreed, but he can't until tomorrow.

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

None of these brushes appeal to me... I don't really use a lot of brushes. The main ones I use would be a dripping effect and blood splatter.

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

Then post some that appeal to you. Post some blood spatter or tell us how you desaturated your sig gradually or how you did the motion-blur thing on the smiley or what font you used for Chewy.

Alex made it. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue Most of my brushes are downloaded off DeviantART. That's where I find my brushes. I'll post some right now actually. I'll go look for some. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

EDIT: Meh. Didn't find anything too interesting. :/

-.-`
And alex hasn't responded to my PM yet, so... Maybe it's an adjustment layer with a white to black gradient. Still don't know about the motion blur, though.

He probably duplicated the smiley, put it in different positions, and added blur to make the moving smiley.

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

K, I'll use that sometime later. But Alex appears to be ignoring me so we might not get some brushes from him.
I'll go look for more brushes. I'll go through the graphics suggestions and ask if anyone has any brushes they want to share.

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

-Not gonna break open photoshop and grab brushes atm, sorry-

The 'gradual' desaturation was done by making a gradient that went from black to transperencey, then setting the mode to color.

Chewy has a good idea on how I did the motion blur, I did throw in some use of the smudge tool to make it blend together better.

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

Could you tell me how to use these brushes in GIMP?

Will edit if I find out how to on my own

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

1. Get those .abr and other brush files you want to install ready.
2. Open GIMP. Go to the preferences. Now go find folders>brushes.
3. Remember the folder written under the brush thing. Now go find that folder on your computer. Now copy all your brushes there.

Re: Photoshop Brushes and Styles

Since people asked me what brushes I use (Barely use brushes anyway), it seem fair that I'd put some of them up. I'll just post them in short bursts with different themes since I'm lazy that way.

Here's a couple of favourites that really make your pictures flow nicely. All of these pictures are made by me with those brush sets.

The brushes themselves? No idea, I've had those for several years.

If you're referring to the pictures, that's all me.
