Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

Great, now kindly gtfo my topic and stay there because you are not an opera user and so can not possibly contribute to the topic.

Yeah, I realized the scrollbar, too, but I love the whole design of it, it's just epic!

I'm working on my own skin, but I'm not sure if I will ever complete it...

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

Ok, I have time, so now I'll explain the sexy scrollbar part. I'm in band, and I've been in the Honor's Clinic for a few years, and we go to Ruskin High School when we got there, we got out the percussion equipment and at ruskin they're triangle is really shiny compared to the dull triangle we have at Hickman, so one of the other percussionists kept on saying "That is a SEXY triangle" And that's where the sexy scrollbar thing came from.

Mmkay, don't use HotKeyBB unless you want the Javascript to stop working on the regular buttons, along with the hot keys not working at all.

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

HotkeyBB works absolutely terrific for me. When I hit the hotkey for (for example) the bold tag, instead of (like the buttons) place my cursor at the end of the tag, it places it right where I need to type. And the button still work, too. I <3 HotKeyBB

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

There are 3 computers in my house.
Fast PC
Fast Netbook
Craptop

On the craptop, everything lags. EVERYTHING. Even scrolling on pages. It's annoying to scroll using the side bar, so I use the arrow keys. Then I noticed something while changing scrolling directions. When scrolling, this thing lags so much, than when you start, it gradually speeds up to the normal scrolling speed, and when you press the opposite direction it slows down, then speeds up in the other direction. If you let go without changing directions it skips down the page a bit and stops immediately. I don't know if this is topic worthy but I found it interesting and it's kept me entertained for a few minutes. So, if you have a really old laptop hanging around, download opera, load a really long page, and try it out!

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

Why do you even use your Craptop?
My brother's PC (=Personal Craputer) lags all the time, too.
I sometimes let him play games that don't work on his PC, then I play on his, but not for long, because it's too annoying to wait until a page loads...

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

I use it because no one else does, and everyone else uses the 2 others. Plus, it's fun to scroll like a maniac.

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

bump.

3 new things.

1. My craptop does not drift as much as it used to.

2. If you have an iframe in a page (I think it's like another website in your page. Like a link, but you don't leave the page), you can right click it, click frame, then reload. Useful for reconnecting on the online IRC Qchat client quickly for when you're messing around with kicking yourself.

3. The more you use opera without shutting it down, the slower it gets. I don't actually have any evidence, just theory. Opera stores history for every closed tab, and the closed tabs history goes back quite a long way. So the more you use it, the slower I think it would get. I think it would be slower because it would be stored in memory, rather than on the hard drive because it vanishes when you close opera.

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

Interesting theory...
I haven't noticed that yet, but it sounds logical.
My PC is very fast, so the theory is probably true on your craptop //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/tongue

Re: Opera Users, UNITE!

I would think that, but I usually never close opera on it. Only a few times when I need to run one of the games it can run. Cave Story runs fairly lagless even with Opera.

Anyway... I only close it when I start doing something else on the internet and I have too many tabs to close one by one (the close all tabs is too much for the craptop) or I need the memory.
