I didn't watch the movie because this Grinch thingy is literally unknown here, but I did google it before getting it, and I get it. I just think the message's saying "lolwut you turned into a green guy who stole christmas out of nowhere", but I guess that that doesn't matter.

I don't think it's stupid. I think it adds a dramatic shift in events, a plot twist that will forever change the Everybody Edits storyline.
