I used to love watching Dora when I was younger. I actually watch the first Dora episodes on Netflix every once in a while today because of nostalgia. I for some reason just love the horrible style of animation, and the ridiculousness. Like when Swiper just happened to find a gigantic pile of keys to throw the key into. Then Dora and boots check only 4 keys then find the right one. In a pile of hundreds of keys.
Now I watch Nick and find the new Dora. It pretty much makes me want to throw up.

I wouldn't think it's about society changing and so and so,
Animation software is becoming easier to use, and it's just overall easier to use these kind of graphics types.
However, I never really liked Dora so I'm not the one to be judgmental about the sudden change in graphical consistency.
