Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Are there any good British cartoons?

I know American cartoons these days are worse than garbage dumps.

America is #1 for that type of show.
And Mythbusters is a decent show, but in some episodes the myths are either boring or viral videos. Really good show though.

I can only imagine the response this will get, but why not?

Family Guy. If you fully understand the context behind its jokes, you'll find that the writers are absolute geniuses. Of course, that means going beyond "HAHA fat guy fall down" and even "is that a race thing?".

I'm not going to argue this, though. If you don't believe me and/or you can't figure them out for yourself, your loss.

Speaking of good shows, How the Universe Works has been running a marathon on the Science channel today.

Oh my god... his voice is like caramel. And I like Prof. Kaku.

Yeah, well, you know that's just like, uh, your opinion, man.

I really, really hope you are not talking about the new episodes.

Re: The death of intelligent TV

I've been thinking and actually, maybe the lack of intelligent shows DOESN'T represent a decline in the American/world average intelligence. Over the decades, TV has always been a huge fight for ratings and an attempt to stay on the air. Intelligent shows weren't that common because they weren't mainstream- they often had to be dumbed down to get more viewers to watch them besides smart people. However, the internet, Youtube and blogs have come around and now you can broadcast your thoughts, ideas and creations for free. Not only that, but now you don't have to compete because there is infinite space for everyone. Most intelligent people now instead pay attention to other smarties on the internet, leaving all the chumps back there watching TV with whatever junk they want to see.

Have you heard of Mythbusters? It's funny, interesting, and educational all at the same time, in my opinion.

Agreed, Mythbusters is pretty good (even though I don't watch it myself).

EDIT: 1000 posts! Hurrah!

The older episodes definitely had good jokes and a meaning behind each one, I'm not that sure about the newer ones.
