Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

That's the good thing, they will change spam bots to crash bots.

Well, i guess i'm back to using fdoouy
on the plus side, we should ban kurt73 becasue he is a shared account with chat
Why don't just remove his chat?

Why can't extra hurtful words that the developers missed, be censored? The only reason why they made it $3 was because things people said were inappropriate.
Why don't just remove his chat?
he has committed too many sins to be forgiven
I feel, it was needed, but
1. Costs too much, even if you get equivalent gems.
2. No one is gonna buy it. Those who bought it while it was 1c, will keep it and enjoy it, considering it was so cheap, those who didn't pay back then probably won't. I doubt they'll get as much money from this act as they even did with builder's club.
3. People have already experienced free chat. To instantly have that taken away, there's probably gonna be an even huger drop in player count.
I personally am, partly thinking of buying it, except I feel they are just going to bring it back soon, as the player count drops to an all new low (like last time). Any ideas for what I should do?

500 players register EE everyday.
And yet nearly all the time, I see less than 200 players on anytime I'm on (not counting account bombs which are easy to see), and see an average of ~75 players. Definitely gonna drop even more now.
And that's the point of, why would I want chat when I can speak to so little people now?

You can't do anything, MrShoe can, he should add email verification instead paying system, atleast it prevent spambots, 1 account per email.

Actually, it's around an average of 100 or so, for this year.

It's already 1 account per email - the verification would work I think.

I wouldn't say 100 based on that but more like low-end 200. Though what's really killed the population was the lack of updates (updates are like food, we don't like all of it but nevertheless it lets us, or the game, live.)
Wow, this really sucks.
The people who are pro-paid chat do have good points, but what really made EE for me when I picked up the game again was the community - hanging out with all the cool people ingame. EE really had its own voice. Would really prefer free chat and somehow better censoring.. but even with smarter censorship, you can never really block out everything.
After all, Everybody Edits is a game directed to a young audience. What did I expect.. lol

^ its not about the toilet words, its about spambots
one thing. why not invest 5 minutes including a capatcha at the regestration, sending a actual confirmation mail and giving the world owners and guardians more abilities to fix crap.
i dont get it. seriously. i dont.
if they want this game to die. just opensource it. people will stick to the best clone of ee. but really. welcome back using tinychat -.- and yay ip-bans will never exist in ee. someone really needs to flood the servers with new account regestrations so they die. maybe they will change after that something....

^ rpgs were killing this game more than ever
I guess this means shared accounts with chat are gonna get popular again.
