Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I'm sure I am a bit overweight, but;
14y.o
181cm tall
70kg
I ride mountain bike and road bike daily, about 30km with mountain bike and 70km+ with road bike, usually. + competitions and longer rides. Longest ride I've ever had was 160km with road bike and then 15km with mountain bike (7 hours total).

I'm starting to play EX14 DDR songs in my nearest arcade.
If that counts as exercise.

Haha, during the legit season im usually about a 28ish for a 50 free, but we only really swim 100's, which my best time is a 105.00
I also swim the 200 IM, the 500 freestyle, the 200 free and the 100 breaststroke
And thats not slow,

Man, I get annoyed if I'm doing Fly, especially if I'm doing a 100m+.
My best stroke would probably be Breaststroke. Even though it's generally a slow stroke, I've clocked in some pretty good times, even if I don't train for a week.
This is my 4,000th post.
I'm very skinny, cause I am very picky, but I am always active (yes even when I'm using the computer). And I'm always jumping and stuff, so I would say I'm fit. I think I'm strong for my age.

I used to love breaststroke, 100m, but then the tendon in my kneecap snapped over the kneecap >.<
What times do you have for breast?

I dunno, I forget easily. I do remember when I was 13, I got about 30 seconds in the 50 breaststroke part of a 200 medley relay.
I got about 30 seconds in the 50 breaststroke part of a 200 medley relay.
Lol dude, thats quite impossible. My friend is 2nd in Canada and he does 32, and 29 is the world record for women. Soooooo I dont think you did 30

Probably a 34 or something. I don't know. I don't have good memory.
Thats more believable, I do a 34-35 usually for a 50

I am naturally skinny even though I eat 3-3500 calories a day, and right now I would consider myself ungodly out of shape haha. I haven't done a lot of serious physical exercise since I injured my neck and auricular nerve in a hockey injury over a year ago, so I resorted to gaming in my free time instead of practicing my hockey shots or working out etc. AAA conditioning camps start in a few weeks here because just recently I was cleared for contact hockey again (finally) so I'm planning on starting some kind of quick fitness program to get at least my cardio up to a workable level. Right now I can't even run up and down a few sets of stairs without needing to draw more breaths.
Oh yea, and I am about 6'0 (182.9cm), 68kg, turning 17 in october.
Well, let's start with my weight, I think I may be in between an ectomorph or a mesomorph. Why am I not sure? Well, my weight is healthy for my age since i'm 17 and I weight 127 lbs, but I usually get called skinny lots of times and my height is also good since i'm 5'8. I tend to have a quick metabolism so that may be the reason to gain weight like I want to.
My exercise routines: Pull ups, push ups, dips (Have a dip bar for effective working), dumbbells (35 lbs). That's all that I do. By all these i am working my bicep, triceps, back, chest, forearm, and grip.
Some people just do dumbbells, and I find it disgusting when I see an arm that has only bicep work. I have a friend who messed up his bicep with 100% all dumbbell workout.
I also started jogging 3 weeks ago and i'm jogging one day and then a day off and then keep my routine on since I don't want to stay sore at all.
Now, the bad thing is that since I look "Skinny" my upper body is toned and my lower body (stomach region) does not match at all, and I hate that (chest and pecs vs lower body is uneven). I'm soon am going to work on lower body, but I have to change my eating habits. Oh, and I don't judge on any type of standards whether your fat or skinny.:)
I'm working on getting stronger because next year at summer i'm going to be working with my father on carrying/picking equipment and i'm going to start with a 12$ start and after I get sufficient money i'm going to college!
EDIT: WOW! I sound so braggy right now... sorry for that, but this is actually 100% true. Savor the sweat when working out!!

^The gap for "normal" weight is immense actually, and then you have to take into account BMI, muscle vs fat, etc.
For example, when I was about 14 and 5'4, I was weighed about 110, and that was "normal" but it was closer to underweight than I would like. Now I am about 5'9-5'10, and weigh more, but am still in the "normal" range, just closer to the top of the scale, which is better, because that means I have more muscle and have a stronger build.

Pick a cycle and ride at low intensity.
50-60% of your max. heart rate to start with. 2-3 hours ride.
60-70% when you can ride this level for several hours without problems.
More intensity is just for strenghtening your legs to speed up and hold a certain level for a while.
Even more intense you might would reach a level of very short and very exhausting sprints. No need to ever get this far for "just cardio" training.

Not to sound like a broken record, but swimming is also an awesome cardio exercise, and is super aerobic, which is good for your heart, and building muscle (not really TONING muscle, but building muscle mass). Like Helvi said with cycling, you can work yourself up until you gain endurance and stamina.

When I see a friend of mine (ex pro swimmer) I always see huuge bear in front of me. Guess she will beat you all at once in arm wrestling
Swimming is no cardiotraining "for me" to be honest. Especially the short distances where you have to perform on a maximum level unlike cycling where you always save energy as best as possible and only make huge efforts for sprints, breakaways etc.
@Pyro, a few her records are:
50 meteres Freeytsle 28.48
400 metres Freestyle 4:15.15
800 metres Freestyle 8:26,70 (thats less than Olympic qualification :O )
1500 meters Freetyle 16:57.99
PM me if you need more info Oo

Hi.

I'd say I'm fit, I do my few hours of sport, running, swimming - that kind of stuff.
I'm not going to have a heart attack anytime soon...
I'm totaly okay with my own body. I in a good shape, good condition. The only thing is that I'm not good in running (like 5-10 km, at sprinting im the best of my class ) becausse of problems with breathing, finding a good phase.
I'm 14 year old (24 Dec. im turning 15) , 1.72 m. , 55 kg.
I fractured my spine and slipped a disk [pic] and so I have been told that I cannot do anything as it could cause more damage, and that was last year [may 2012]. So for the past year I have not done anything, but I haven't gained any weight or even become more fatter than I was before.
So no I'm not healthy but I look it.
How I fractured my spine: I used to sit leaning forward constantly so my spine didn't have the natural s shape [out at the shoulders, in above the waist; mine was just straight.] and this put pressure on the inside of my spine above my waist. While training for a school sports day 5km run, I had run about 200m when I felt a pain in the top of my right leg (it felt like I ripped a muscle) after x-rays and MRI scans there was no explanation why it hurt on every step, but I was told to not participate in any sport that it felt uncomfortable for my leg - and just standing was very painful. So months went by and I was in physiotherapy for quite a few months but made no progress, but after I got a pain in my back the physio send me to a orthopedic doctor who discovered a small fracture and a slipped disk, this explains the pain in my leg when there is noting wrong with it. I am currently awaiting for another MRI scan, for that time I have to nothing.

I'm not overweight, but all my fat goes to my belly and... eh... breast area...
Yay for beer gut and moobs!
My legs and arms and head are skinny btw.
My crazy anatomy!
I feel ya deetz. The main fat I have is lower belly. Its really weird, because I have abs until the last little bit where its flubby/
Oh well. Im starting a new excersize routine, hopefully that'll take care of that.

I'm skinny but I think I have decent muscles. I have started doing press-ups every night. I started at 20, and I do one more every night. I'm now on 33. Still not hench though.
