Using XFCE with Compiz Reloaded. The terminal is GNOME terminal and IIRC it has some patches to make it support transparency. The dock I think is docky. Desktop is being handled by XFDesktop and IRC client is HexChat. The Emerald theme is my own Arc-Dark/OS X flavored one called BeefCakes and I used my own script called Skillet which uses WMUtils to arrange the windows. Using Compiz's keybinding powers I use Skillet to manage my windows completely with the mouse while still being able to have things snapped into place. Left hand on the keyboard, right hand on the mouse. That's what blender does and since I liked it I decided to try and apply that to everything.
