negative posts could be posts where you get a warning for, with flaming/cussing or quad/trip/double posts.

Then you'd have to get more bad than good posts. You'd almost certainly be banned before that happened if you had more posts that break the rules than not.

The ranks have been updated to support up to 4500 posts.   Here is the new rank system:

Surveyor - 500
Designer - 600

Foreman - 2500

How about being able to select from certain unlocked ranks? Because Different55 has more than 4500 posts and probably wants to showoff his Construction Manager title(because Krazyman is currently the only one with the Foreman title).

We should explore the Industrial areas for higher ranks. As the forums get older, more people will progress in ranks making 4500 obsolete.

Welder - 5000
Industrial Technician - 7000
Industrial Manager - 10,000

Ucwatididthar?   Under 1k, you get a new rank every 50 posts, instead of 100 like we have here.   And when you're in the thousands, you increase every 250 posts instead of 500.   I also stopped at 4500, I'm going to add TakoMan02's suggestions.
EDIT: Added ranks.   Clumsy Welder at 4750, Welder at 5000, Skilled Welder at 5250, Industrial Technician at 5500, Industrial Manager at 5750, and Custom Title at 6000.

How about an drop down menu, when you can be any rank you have already gotten, but want to be it again? You cna choose it, update your profile thing, then yay.

That's a great idea, but I can't see it being implemented, unfortunately.

EDIT: jomarixa8080 had that idea a few posts up, though.
