Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Omg, lol.     Looks good. 1bigsmile1     I don't really like the idea of wide smileys...     Seems unoriginal to me...

Polished

Terminator - Improved hair shading
Nurse - Centered cross, improved shading
Ninja - Improved cloth shading
Bully - Symmetrical correction to hat, more vibrant colors
Angel - Glowing halo, small wings (Best I could do with the width restriction)

Minor, not shown:
Commando - removed green line
Big spender - removed black pixel

Feedback is always appreciated. Also, if you have any more ideas for graphics that need improvement in the game, just post it here. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

I like them

I like all of them except the wings on the angel. As for the terminator, I can't even tell the difference

Just think about all the extra code you would have to write to re-code these into EE. Personally I hate using graphics in computer code stuff.

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

they take no code, just a slight edit of a sprite sheet.

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

That sounds pretty cool. I would like to know how to transfer the 45 smilies I made into sprites (just so they can look more official). I think I'm going to Google "sprites" now.

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

umm, how about you darken the devil smiley a little bit? it looks pink, which doesn't fit a devil smiley.

I don't understand how to edit the sprite sheet. Do I have to type in the pixel colors?

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

for what purpose? A sprite sheet is just one big image containing many little sprites.

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

So it is already a sprite sheet? If so, how can I put into the form of the EE sprite sheet?

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

Organize it. Even if you did, there's no way YOU can put it into your own ee.
Organise them like
//forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/big_smile|:(|;)|:o|:o|etc.

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

Who said I ever expected those to get into EE? All those smilies are bad and stupid. I made them because I was bored.

Re: Polished smileys - Feedback needed!

Will we be able to buy the polished smilies again with energy or will they be put in the classic tab to buy with gems?
