Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

well, i did say:
but it's only what you can do in the free worlds
but i guess it could be misinterpreted.
How about this?
Instead of having checkmark boxes by each user's name, if you click on a name in the user list, a box will pop up showing this:
[] God Mode
[] Open World Editing
[] Locked World Editing
[] Ability to promote players
[] Ability to do commands
[] Ability to save world
[] Ability to clear world
[] Ability to change world name
And you check off those boxes

It should be under the "Modify Level" section.

NICE IDEA
LUV IT
This sorta kinda reminds me of my long-past suggestion...
erm... Here.
but it's like... Customizable.
Good idea, but it'd be better with code not instead of one.
Heh?
Good idea, but it'd be better with code not instead of one.
The whole point of this idea is to make codes unnecessary. Most users dislike the code system, and it enables trolling.
this is my virsion
[ ] check all box's
Rhys [owner]
_____________
[ ] benjaminsen [spectate]
[ ] chewy [spectate]
[ ]rpgmaster2000 [spectate]
spectate = watch what there doing to see if they are TROLLING this will make it really easy to see if there trolling
There should be an option to check editors, and moderators (who can save, clear etc)
And make a block at the end, and if someone touches it, he/she will get edit rights.

OK, I just came onto this topic, and the first thing I see is my name unchecked. Randomness.
Anyways, this is a great idea!
Oh, and random quote: 'Don't run with scissors. Run with a big huge chainsaw.'
I think this should be in the "Modify Level" tab labeled "User Privileges".
But anyway epic win idea!

Lol, yeah, it really was random; I was just using names that I saw recently in other posts, and then I randomly assigned check marks to some of them.
awesome idea, although, I'd imagine guests would have to be given a number, shouldn't leave them out, honestly. that is unless doing this could encourage them to make an account
This has to go in game, Great Idea!

If we force guests to register to edit then that would get rid of guest trolls, forcing them to use a fake account, but if they use a fake account they can be kicked. If you give them numbers then they can also be kicked. So if this gets into the game we can get rid of the issue with not being able to kick guest trolls. Also we should be able to ip-ban/kick from the room
Well to stop the 'owner leaving' situation, the person who had the editing power first would then have power over who gets the power.
great idea, but it would only do that if there wasn't anyone else left in the room who can promote other players, and it would pick the person who has the highest rank for the longest period of time. otherwise it would be possible for a player who trolled but was in the level a long time to be able to promote other players.

I like it, but if they got autoclicker then its pointless...
We can't prevent all trolling, but this will chop the legs off of non-autoclicker trolls.
But, they don't have legs, nor butts. Anyway, this is a very good idea
I really like the idea but sometimes it's hard to catch trolls because they are so fast and they will see you trying to get them. It's possible to catch their username but it's still hard even with the print screen button. And what if a guest start trolling?
This is quite possibly the most fail-proof alternative to a code I've ever read.
If someone is making a lot of blocks in a short time, perhaps have an auto remove editing privilege buttons that you can activate/deactivate or have their name flash red or something.
And also:
[] Have this world in their saved level list (will appear with a blue star icon for example to know it's from another person)
