Well this idea does have a few bad things.
1.what if some people dont want to have the smiley and they get infected?
2.people can put levels such as Get infected here and a bunch of people get it.It kind of makes it much more easy,and some people like it hard.

But I have to say,it is a good idea.

1. It's their problem they don't want it.
The worst case they can ignore it and change it. Meh.

2. If some people want it hard, they won't enter "Get Infected Here" right?

It's a good idea, but then the mods will be flooded with more comments:

TOUCH MEE!!! RPGMASTER WAKE UP I WANT ZOMBIE!!! PLEEEEAAAAAZ I NEEEEEEED ITT!!!

As ThhuggishPrune said, it would infect too fast for this. about 1 week and almost every user have it, IMO.

To get a smiley would change the game into a entirely different game?

I totally agree with you. We can't just say NO to every change, I mean, seriously, this game needs ANY life (or death ) other than jumping smileys on pixel blocks!
