Its a good idea, it would feel like theres a purpose to play. I don't think rewards would be needed though. I'd be happy just to gain the achievement. This way theres really no point in abusing the system, its just for personal satisfaction.

im against this now youll be seeing lots of levels at the top that arent fun and just earn yo uthe acheivements

old:be on everybody edits for a year
explorer: go to 100 rooms!

The problem with achievements is that they're not really "achievements" in a game like this. It all comes down to numbers which take time rather than skill. If it takes no skill it can't really be considered an achievement and in my opinion don't add any depth to the game but rather causes players to become obsessed with the achievements they forget to make good levels. Considering the tiny amount of good levels there currently are I can't say it's something EE really needs right now.

Now, after i thought about it, I totally agree with you.
If there were achievements, there would be even less new levels than there already are. And we don't have many new maps. I always see the same levels on the top list every day.

If this happens the top levels will be spammed with levels to get achievements. Achievements will kill the game just like when magic first came out.

Reward: Ultimate Fan Smiley or +250 energy

Gem Collecter
Icon: ?
Goal: Buy the $100 gem pack
Reward: Rare Cyclops Smiley. (To be made if this becomes a real achievement)

Mod Stalker
Icon: ?
Goal: Meet Toby,Benjaminsen,Cyclone and RPGMaster2000 at least twice.
Reward: +10 Energy

Goal: Collect 35 smileys
