...It works that way? I thought when an IP was taken no one could ever use it again.

What's the difference if a computer is off or smashed to bits or taken apart or in standby mode to other computers? That IP is currently in use. So if another computer comes along and nabs it, DHCP will assign another one to the first computer. Now, I don't intend on using the IP for very long. Just enough to look then switch my IP back because I've grown rather fond of my current IP. But anyway, I don't want to cause any trouble. I'll be off the IP before the computer can turn back on. Maybe they don't work that way and I'm fooling myself with this IP crap. Because aren't IPs able to give you hostnames and locations? :/ Hm. If it fails it fails, and I don't see something I was never meant to.

And chimi, it seems to me like IPs randomly change once in a while. And if 2 of the same IP are on at the same time, the second computer will get all sorts of lovely errors. This happened when I was trying to get into Aslai's animator without the code by using his IP. He happened to be online at the time -.-'

If you chance the http:// to ftp:// it says u have to give out username and password :O
I hope an ingame admin soon respons this topic

^it does?

it shouldn't. you would need an FTP client, I would imagine. and then there's not really a way to hack the username and password.

ftp is file transfer protocal. It lets you upload files to the site. Like, say, new versions of the game and different HTML files. Or anything, really. http is for html pages. ftp is file transfer. file is for local stuff.

It's not just the pass, you have the username to crack too. Essentially you have 2 passwords to crack. I'm not going for the site, I just want to get into the alpha site.

Actually, my IP address isn't even whitelisted yet, so that would be pointless. The alpha sub-domain isn't actually being used yet, so you wouldn't find anything.
