Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

no matter how much you are **** about the situation, john has his own rights to do whatever he wants, no need to judge him or tell him that he is wrong.
Wouldn't you try to let someone who mops the floor right below a broken pipe where sewage is dripping down from, know that they are mistaken if their goal was indeed to have the floor clean?
I would do that at a job I don't care about, to clock in work hours. But he specifically said he wants to give back to the game, to help it get fixed.
How is not noticing the source of the issues not "wrong"? How is following a "free candy" sign down a dark corridor not "judge worthy" if one can clearly see dead bodies on the floor leading up to it?
What 2B said.
Everyone views "drama" as something pointless but at its core drama is just "conflict". Conflict is something bad but one should always remember what caused it so it doesn't happen in the future. Your approach is flawed.
Will you disregard human history because "it's better to look forward"?
We are all tied to the game by roughly the same reason, just re-mentioning that is anything but a concrete answer.
does it run faster
lel.
It can also lockpick coindoors. In presence of a police smiley, it is at zombie speed. Radius 8 blocks.
Teens go to school, young people go to university, older people go to work.
There's no escape no matter what age you are. There's always something in real life that will undoubtly take priority over any hobby. And developing EE is a hobby for all of them because how on earth would that be a real job at EE's popularity and funds.
It doesn't really matter if it's Luke or anybody else. Work needs to be done well, not fast. Well and fast is a luxury, a luxury EE never had because it's a kid's flash game on the internet.
this is why you should never hire young adults around 20. not because of their attitude or skill, but because they're too damn busy with education to do what you want
Who else are you going to hire then? The only reason all staff is staff right now is because they were kids and grew up playing EE.
Good luck hiring some 40 year old master coder for this meaningless speck of dust in the gaming industry.
This is rather fascinating.
When people said "How hard can you make yourself look like a fool", xeno took it as a challenge?
I know this is a matter of being sad and/or outraged but I am well past that point and to me this is actually really funny. Not because your account and worlds got removed, more because xeno and him >>>ACTUALLY<<< still thinking he's a good owner of a public game. Imagine not seeing the wrong in your actions not even at this very moment. When one would say that even the lowest possible idiot would be able to.
So, Xeno XD
I can't even. Surely you don't recognize the value of tens of worlds because you're a jack of no trades, master of none.
But you're developing a game for children and expect to manage it as a child yourself? lol
I'm sorry, Kira.
May you rest in paece. May your soul be forever safe from immaturity in the afterlife!
A shame because of all your worlds, but I don't expect him to comprehend talent.
I also do not expect him to give up being a manchild.
1st of April! Let's celebrate the biggest joke as of recent: All of us.
It cannot be denied that this conflict sprung up because of something dumb.
No one monitors private messages and no one really bothers to monitor any type of EE chat outside of PMs, you know it to be true. Why would anyone do that? Answer me that if you disagree.
Kira, being alone in a world with his friend, had all the luxury he can possibly get saying stupid shit, making stupid jokes, behaving stupid, breathing stupid and work on that stupid spike world that would have made me rage so hard, oof.
He had it.
So, sure, it was indeed his mistake to post it on the Discord knowing just well what he's going up against. A child in adult's pants, with a CEO hat, that, as a surprise to nobody, threw bans at him like Zeus would throw lightning bolts.
So what did he send? A screenshot of a chatlog containing a dumb joke, which, yes, you other crybabies that have replied already, should have been an "issue" to just ignore and let die.
Why?
Because wake up and smell the coffee, unless you're underage or something, which most of you seem to be. The game had an enormous peak of 50 players some days ago; and that only because of the quarantine, not anything else.
Do you even comprehend what low of a number that is for an online game?
No one is getting arrested, or raided, or swatted because of ee chats. EE is an insignificant children's game, played in a browser, haunted daily by the same fifteen people that only stick around because of nostalgia. How would that ever attract any type of law enforcement attention? You're all discussing this pedophilia accusation so digustingly presumptiously, as if Xeno rivals Trump or Putin in importance. No one gives a damn about him.
And we are that no one. After all, he's just the owner of a carcass. Not even one that's still warm.
And don't look at me like that, only because I do not condemn swearing and cussing. I didn't say I support it but I am "enlightened" enough to see that it really does not matter in our case. Tell an old lady in a store to go fuck herself and you might get thrown out by the manager. Tell Trump to go suck a fat one during a public speech, in person, and police may beat you up with batons and take you in. But Xeno? Xeno is only very slightly slightly slightly slightly less of a nobody than we are. He shouldn't have cared, we all shouldn't have cared. After all it was a bait because that's how late punchline jokes work. Getting offended by "the first part" in a "they got us in the first part, not gonna lie" joke is beyond pathetic, seriously.
"Grow up" doesn't even work on you people, because you obviously did just that, only in a painfully sheltered environment.
People swear. Everywhere. You cannot stop it without immense power and it shouldn't even be stopped, because no one should like to become China.
Just jump in any EE world right now and have a pretty high chance to see little kids raging on minis, calling them gay or ask what the fuck is going on here, how the fuck do I beat this mini, this world is fucking bad and you're a fucking idiot, world owner!
Why do they not moderate that? Why don't they ban everyone because after all, they're all breaking the rules, aren't they? The game already has just enough people to fill up a bathroom stall, better get rid of some more.
Why do they not moderate that? Because why would they, as I said at the start. They are random kids, their minds are too simple to express genuine critique or disapproval.
But ooop! Some oldie made a crude joke and another one, ...
oh no,
one of them has...
AN OPINION!
Nooooo! Not the opinions!
Can't have that, he's a threat to the game! He's a threat to THE STATE! He's creating civic unrest!! He's a threat to my sovereignty and, most importantly, my rEpUtAtIoN that comes from a small group on the internet!
Better silence him all Winnie the Pooh style because of my pristine anger issues that I acknowledge, but don't learn anything out of!
Xeno,
look,
the coffee smell is for you too.
When I came to you with questions, issues, or when I donated, you replied formally. Gave you plus class points right then and there.
But only talking formally when it suits you, or when you can actually resist clenching your teeth and spontaneously combust, really makes you lose the right to even have a class meter in the first place.
I had no idea how you ended up as owner, but I didn't care. Saw the game is still dead but not really burning or anything, saw you planning a new EE game in html; I said:
Good for you.
Why not good for the game too? Because it needs a miracle to come back to life. And the internet is freshly out of miracles for browser games. Flash or not, their trend is gone. I don't think EEU will actually be a thing, and it's not even your fault.
Though, even if it will, your inaptitude to control yourself, follow your own rules and your temper will make you a terrible administrator. Most people would catch on that you are banning people for talking back.
It's classy but I don't even fundamentally understand where this royal feeling comes from, as to adopt such formal talk with your others, as the head of EE.
Most of the regulars share your age range and we were common players just like you.
Though we developed random talents, you developed an ego.
/out ✌️

No.
Likely to happen? Also no.
Would we survive a bath of fire? No.
Likely to happen? Yes.
Australia is just the first one to bite the dust.
I don't want EEU to fail, but I don't believe it will succeed either. Kids are more than able to find something better to do nowadays than spawning blocks with mouse clicks and build hotels, bosses and stai- Scratch that. Stairs won't even be a thing because key doors are the devil supposedly. (Really don't get it AT ALL why they won't be in eeu)
EE just had luck to launch off the ground. The internet was small and dumb, the main attraction was browser games and EE had a multitude of features that was more than able to hook people's attention.
Now things are not like that anymore. There are way better games than EEU/EE on steam that are dead, expecting EEU to get a lot of people and hold them in place is the next level of wishful thinking.
You won't have 3,000 people clicking the screen and messing around with arrows for that long.
But hey, that's my opinion overall. Let's get to the smaller things.
Yes, sure, updates are needed, new packs are needed, but I really don't think they are needed right now. Absolute top priority right now should be polishing gravity. Game's in closed beta, you wouldn't want the game to "release", people "making levels" and then breaking them all with a major gravity change, now would you? Not many players in, not many worlds in, so why not incentivising people to mess around with gravity, trying to make minis and have the staff take a look on quirks and the like? (I'd say EEU should have quirks just like EE, even if they are known from the start, it's nice to find those as a noob player while building minis yourself, but I won't get into that because, again, quirks are the devil and we need to purge them apparently)
Some other things I don't understand and would appreciate if somebody would explain are these:
-I was once talking to xeno and casually phrased "if eeu's gravity wants to be like ee's" and he laughingly said EEU really doesn't want that. Why is that? I could guess EE's gravity is spaghetti code, but if the end goal is not broken, why try to fix it?
Outsiders will be difficult to hold in either way, so let's risk having older players also not stay because they are forced to learn a new, wonky movement system from scratch. Sounds like a good idea.
It all comes down to "Why should I invest effort in learning this and doing that here when I can do something else?" and trust me, not only old players think like that. Children do too.
-Why does EEU want to be less pixely and more "round", more "clean"? Blocks are squares. When people will build worlds, when people will build art (if to both), they will do pixel art because that's what the minimap encourages them to do and nowadays, that's what it's easier to look up and copy. Sure it's nice to look at. But one core feature cannot adopt the round and clean idea, having the others be that would be inconsistent.
No.
It does warn you that the process is irreversible when you are the crew owner and choose to add a world to your crew
OR
when the owner of the crew you're in requests your world be added and you accept.
The only way a world can get rid of the crew association is by the crew to be deleted.
Onjit wrote:I am quite impartial to the left invisible arrow
wrong answer, the right invisible arrow is better because it's the right choice
The right choice no one expects.
I like the team doors very much. It's another approach to blocks disappearing and appearing strategically that is not switches.
And on top it's colorful!
Falk wrote:So the bot will do all the recording, no need for us to do anything but play, right?
yes
Then I will join as well, name same as in-game.
So the bot will do all the recording, no need for us to do anything but play, right?
My computer wouldn't be able to handle any extra task.
I kind of want the old black block back. It wasn't That hard to differentiate from fully black blocks or fully black background imo.
Will this be updated with seasonal campaigns?
Maybe with an asterisk because the worlds themselves aren't campaigned all the time.
I am pretty curious what rainbow time is on those as well, especially the current halloween ones.
Zoey changed a picture into something gory once and all the little butthurt babies gonna cry
while a guy was around the forums with a gif of a giant putting people into a meat grinder for forever.
toooootally not personal problems, just respectful care coming from some concerned users that want the forums to be a better place. yeah sure
THE COIN.
IT WAS MAGIC.
<snippity snoppers i am the scissor snip man and this used to a gif of the guy from far cry praising this topic for being a good post but there was a swear in it so it is now removed sorry>
Yes.
Clicking the "Send" button automatically puts in the last person you messaged.
Because of this I often send messages and don't remember if I got the consignee right.
So my suggestion is short and precise:
How about two sections, one Inbox, one Outbox? Sent and received messages.
question: can worlds be added to crews before being submitted?
The world should only be allowed to be added to a crew after the contest because a crew can have more than 5 people contributing.
