Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Greetings all,

We're in 2017, the look and feel of this forum is from 2006. This is not attractive to new players at all.
I suggest that this forum becomes an archive and a new forum built using the XenForo software. An example of an XenForo website could be World of Tanks forums, Minecraft Market, Spigot(minecraft community), Bukkit. You can checkout my own websites for demo purposes

XenForo comes with tons of features, such as, embedding of nearly every media type available, including, but not limited to, YouTube, Daily Motion and more.
XenForo provides a powerful instant alert notification system and this is important. Away in your browser? No matter! Xenforo will put an alert on the tab showing you that you have a new alert or message. This is important because it keeps the community interaction high and at a new level, there is no refreshing back and forth looking for different things.

You can create private messages with multiple users and have a chat similar to how a forum thread is setup. Xenforo comes with a powerful theme system that is easy to edit and design.
The look and feel of XenForo are very inviting and user friendly.

Xenforo comes with a built in wall for each user and a very nice friend and follow system.

If I was a new player visiting this game for the first time I would think that the site is old and unprofessional. The most important part of any community is the community itself, if the community can thrive, so will the game. This doesn't take a genius to figure out.

Everyone, I encourage you to post below so that different55 can see this is a good path to follow.
